What do you like best about Sangfor Cloud Platform?

What I like most about Sangfor Cloud Platform is its flexibility, comprehensive features and ease of infrastructure management. We have been using Sangfor HCI since 2022 and it has provided significant value in supporting our organization's IT infrastructure and daily operations.

One of its biggest advantages is the flexibility to utilize different server hardware platforms to build an HCI environment. This allows us to make better use of available hardware resources without being limited to a specific server brand.

There are several aspects that make Sangfor Cloud Platform particularly valuable to us:

1. User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX)

The centralized management dashboard provides a convenient way to monitor and manage virtual machines, computing resources, storage, and infrastructure health. Having these capabilities available through a single interface makes daily administration and routine monitoring more efficient.

2. Integration and Hardware Flexibility

One of the biggest advantages is its flexibility in utilizing different server hardware platforms to build an HCI environment. This allows organizations to make better use of available hardware resources without being entirely dependent on a specific server brand. Its integration of computing, storage, and virtualization also simplifies infrastructure management.

3. Performance and Reliability

Sangfor HCI provides reliable performance for running multiple virtual machines and supporting various IT services and applications. Its resource management capabilities allow us to allocate CPU, memory, and storage according to workload requirements while maintaining stable infrastructure operations.

4. Competitive Pricing and Return on Investment (ROI)

We appreciate the value offered by Sangfor Cloud Platform in terms of its features and capabilities relative to the investment. Its flexibility in utilizing different server hardware also provides opportunities to optimize infrastructure costs and maximize existing hardware investments.

5. Technical Support and Onboarding

Technical support is an important aspect of our experience. The Sangfor support team has been helpful in providing technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and support during infrastructure maintenance and development. This is particularly valuable when dealing with critical infrastructure.

6. AI and Intelligence Features

We understand that Sangfor continues to develop AI-driven capabilities within its platform. However, we have not yet actively utilized these features in our current operational environment, so we cannot provide a detailed assessment based on direct experience. What do you dislike about Sangfor Cloud Platform?

Overall, our experience with Sangfor Cloud Platform has been positive since we started using Sangfor HCI in 2022. However, there are several areas that could be further improved to enhance the overall user experience:

1. Third-Party Integration and Compatibility

Integration with third-party solutions, particularly backup systems, monitoring platforms, and other virtualization tools, could be expanded. Broader compatibility would provide greater flexibility for organizations with diverse IT environments.

2. Monitoring, Reporting, and Error Handling

Sangfor Cloud Platform has helped us address several challenges in managing our IT infrastructure, particularly in terms of server consolidation, resource utilization, infrastructure management, and scalability.

Before adopting an HCI solution, managing multiple physical servers and infrastructure components could require more complex administration and maintenance. With Sangfor HCI, we can consolidate computing, storage, and virtualization resources into an integrated platform, making infrastructure management more efficient and centralized.
