"Sales Automation That Frees Up Time for Real Customer Conversations"
5/5
What do you like best about Sales-Automation?

What I like most about sales automation is how much time it frees up for real conversations with customers. Routine tasks like logging calls, sending follow-up emails, scheduling appointments, and tracking leads in the CRM can happen automatically, which lets me focus on building rapport and understanding each prospect’s needs.

It also keeps my pipeline organized with reminders, so no lead slips through the cracks. That matters a lot in appointment setting, where timely follow-up often determines whether someone actually shows up or enrolls in a trial. On top of that, the reporting gives me clear visibility into call volume, conversion rates, and appointments booked, helping me see what’s working and adjust my approach.

For me, automation takes care of the repetitive work, while the personal, respectful, no-pressure touch stays with me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales-Automation?

What I dislike most about sales automation is that, when it’s overused, outreach can start to feel impersonal. Automated emails and texts can come across as generic, and in a role where building rapport and respecting a customer’s decision really matter, a templated message can actually work against trust. It also takes time to set up correctly, and if the data in the system is outdated or incomplete, the automation may send the wrong message to the wrong person—or keep following up with someone who has already said no.

Another downside is the learning curve, which can feel steep at first, especially with tools that pack in a lot of features. To manage these drawbacks, I make a point of personalizing automated messages, regularly reviewing my lead lists, and stepping in with a real conversation whenever a prospect shows interest or hesitation.
