**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

SailPoint give you the customisation like if some connecter, configuration, code is not working then with our mind we can write our own logic to fulfill the requirements. Also it has features like multi-factor authentication, life-cycle governance, Password management and single sign-on.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Although it is a good product but, sometimes it behaves abruptly as it is having high level of cache issue and some minor bugs on which the SailPoint team is working and getting it resolved.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So in our organisation we are using SailPoint as a user onboarding and governance tool. We have taken HR application for aggregating data, as it is a authoritative application. Using it we are managing our identities.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

Sail point is an IAM tool which will use to secure the data of the people and  organisation, it is best when compared to other identity and management tools , i will refer it.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Nothing to describe it is the best identity and management tool i used but you should know the basics of Java , SQL , angular to get into sail point for better understanding.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the data of the people in the industries and monitoring the data and securing the data by not stealth by the hackers and will protect the data by fishing.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

Sailpoint truly is a developer friendly tool where we can easily customise as our wish , already available out of the box rules, workflows, sailpoint community and most importantly it uses Java.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Debugging the code can be time consuming.
Servers getting down every now and then due to load issues or wrong loggers attached or due to incorrect code uploaded.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sailpoint helps in achieving security issue of users and make sures other employees or external sources don't exploit the identity data of employees.
It makes me relieved and trust the company as my personal data is secured.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

It provides full customization in every field like the LifeCycle events, the Joiner, Mover and Leaver.You can also create your own customized events. Example: Noshow, ABS etc.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

You should be enough skilled while doing any task with the Identity as it can create a huge impact on the LifeCycle of the Identity. As there is no Undo button.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In SailPoint each and every activity of the Identity is monitored so you can not do any task that is not included in your role. We have Certification campaign where the defaulters will be captured.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

To avoid data breaches, the type of entitlements should be managed by Sailpoint. Using Sailpoint, we can handle the Joiner, Mover, Leaver, and termination use cases. We can manage certification and policy in Sailpoint.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

The Sailpoint has a cache issue while working. Otherwise, the tool is extensive, and when starting to learn this tool, you will not find study material readily available anywhere. We can only learn the tool within the organization.

Sailpoint manages the assignment and control of capabilities based on roles for individual employees. Sailpoint addresses issues such as Joiner, Mover, Leaver, Termination, and Revoke.

SailPoint has helped us align our Identity Management with our Security guidelines and procedures. It has helped us reach the compliance goals that we have also been struggling with.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

There is a ton of training needed to fully understand and utilize the product to its full potential. All the training offered to use the product is free, but you need to pay for more training to gain a better understanding.

SailPoint has solved our main issue with User Access Reviews for SOX compliance. It had never been conducted correctly at my company for years before I started here. Many fines were assessed yearly for Compliance failures until we implemented SailPoint.

Sailpoint SaaS management tool is very convenient as it eliminates the requirement of manual intervention. It can be used to discover your entire SaaS footprint, including unauthorized or hidden applications.

At this point not much to dislike in this application. Only thing that can improve is the process of customisation of the product as per the clients needs. Other than that everything is better than the competition.

mostly tracking the licences that are not used by anyone this saves us a lot of cost.

Effectiveness to deal with all use cases and scenarios of identity management, access governance and system integration using OOTB connectors and the flexibility to create custom integrations using REST and SCIM connectors.

The IdentityNow product allows minimal customizations which becomes the bottleneck sometimes as the OOTB way of achieving some requirements is also not available.

These use cases can be efficiently implemented in IIQ and IDN and solve most identity governance and administration problems.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

I enjoy the extensibility of the IdentityIQ platform.  The sky really feels like the limit for what you can do with SailPoint IIQ.  If you want to create a UI interface, customize a workflow, support a unique business process, or integrate with a  disparate system all you have to do is write the code and plug it into the IIQ framework.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Since SailPoint has essentially handed the keys to its customer's developers to build and develop within their own IIQ environments, there are inherent challenges to overcome from vendor support perspective.   Often for good reasons, and sometimes for not, IIQ customers are pushed to engage professional services to troubleshoot and address problems in their implementations.  This leads to expensive and lengthy engagements which often do not coincide well with the customer's needs.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are supporting self-service group provisioning and maintenance from an entitlement perspective.  We leverage certifications for quarterly and yearly reviews.  We are using IIQ for end-user account and identity lifecycle management. 
 We use the entitlement catalog for access requests fulfillment.  We are using IIQ's role management to build out RBAC and ABAC controls to facilitate lifecycle transitions.  This year we will be releasing password sync functionality with IIQ's password interceptor.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

The product works very well, and the Expert Services team are top-notch. The customer success managers ensure we are well looked after.  The personal experience is what we value above the software experience.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

The end-of-life lifecycle and support for connectors from vendors means we are upgrading yearly in some areas. By moving most services behind a web services or a JDBC interface insulates IIQ from the connector but forces the target application to create such a service when a direct connector is available.

**Recommendations to others considering SailPoint:**

Governance is tricky in most aspects.  SailPoint will not tell you how to do it, each organization is different, but if you approach them with a plan, they will guide you in a good direction.  The product out of the box work very well - do not customize it.  Their plug-ins need a lot of senior developer attention to get them working correctly in a large or enterprise installation due to the complexities of the IIQ implementation.

Engage the CSMs for any issues, and you will get attention right away.

The company is customer focused.

The list is large in terms of benefits, but the largest benefits are birthright assignments, joining the company account setup, terminations, and certification of accounts/accesses.

Sailpoin t is a good application. We use it for our IAM activities. Wehave automated most of the tasks in the sailpoint application which helps us with our daily tasks

The tool serves the purpose for which it was developed. The sailpoint application is very easy to work with and takes less system memory. Overall this is a good application so less issues to point out

**Recommendations to others considering SailPoint:**

Make sure you have a roadmap of where you are at and where you plan on getting to the long term. This will help you understand what needs to be purchased and implemented. Also, consider what you may already have available with other applications to avoid duplicating efforts/costs. Ensure you have cleaned up everything as best you can before implementing this solution to have a solid foundation for future upgrades. Lots of useful features but requires some specific circumstances to work as intended.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auto user provisioning, group assignment for roles, and email creation are fantastic. Setting up some of these things was a challenge, and modifying some of them is also troublesome. I realized that it's all based on a solid foundation but not always possible to start at that point.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

For end-users, the UI is simple, clean, and intuitive. The out-of-the-box workflows provide a nice experience for users requesting access or entitlements, and custom workflows leverage the same UI elements for a consistent look and feel. 

From an extension and integration perspective, IdentityIQ's application model makes it easy to consume and manipulate identity data end-to-end. By using an XML model and BeanShell, access to data elements is handled consistently throughout the environment.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

The major drawback that we encounter is due to the task-based nature of IdentityIQ's operations. This architecture builds in delays in processing updates from authoritative sources that would be better to avoid. In a larger environment requiring updates from multiple sources each day, it is challenging to achieve real-time operations across the board.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Sailpoint IdentityIQ, we have reduced the effort and elapsed time needed to create and set up new users in our environment and improved the accuracy and timing of access removal for departing and moving users. We have provided additional workflows to support teams allowing them to troubleshoot and resolve access issues quickly. We have improved our audit results by implementing more timely and thorough access reviews.

Centralized access reviews have created excellent standardization. We have automation in place for new hires and terminations that saves much manual work.  We are embarking on a Role initiative this year and the insights provided by SailPoint's suite of tools have been incredibly valuable.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

A strong set of REST APIs to administer and configure system; consistent reliability and frequent updates, unlocking additional functionality that can be leveraged in your organization. New Developer portal is a complete overhaul with well-presented documentation and examples and a broad set of connectors that allow SailPoint to interact with on-prem systems including legacy components.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

The company is in a significant growth mode as they transition to cloud - for us, this has meant longer than expected delays in answering support inquiries and getting expert services assigned to an analyst. Hopeful, however that they are taking the appropriate measures to improve n these areas overtime.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of Access, Network ID Creation, Azure Administrative Units, integration with ServiceNow. We're noticing a better and more consistent user experience, reliable and repeatable and overall improvement over repetitive manual processes.

SailPoint is a powerful tool  and can help an organization in many ways. We have been able to automate a lot of our processes and also develop control around admin access within the company.

We have resolved joiners, movers, and leavers within the company. The certification process has helped control access within the company. We have also utilized SailPoint to automate the provisioning of access.

We implemented in a manner that was logical for our organization.   This allowed us to progress, slowly gaining confidence in the software and ensuring management was on board with the solution.

An extensive list of OOTB connectors. Very well done Web Services and SCIM connectors for other applications. Clean, easy to use UI.

A lot of customization can only be done through API calls. Several common use cases not implemented yet.

Customer Success team is always a strong advocate for the customer.  Great management practices of tracking open issues and providing escalations when necessary.

At times, SP does not deliver on promised deadlines for roadmap functionality.

Setting firm dates for the Epic SER connector would be a good start.

I liked how user-friendly it felt after the previous homegrown solution that was previously used.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

I think that from a technical aspect, it is definitely intended to be an out of the box solution, which is standard for this kind of product but it took a lot longer to implement based on how things were being done.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

Its installation and use are quite simple to carry out, in fact, during all its use the number of times I made a request for support to customer service was practically nil, and the few times I did it I got a response in a period of time quite impressive, the ease with which it integrates with other applications is something quite impressive, the fact that we can enter the information into the system in a fairly simple, practical and fast way is not of great help to make future queries of the information.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

I must say that I have not found any negative aspect that makes me not recommend Intello, it is that if we put all the parts together such as performance, functionality and ease of use they make it the perfect solution for any business, and in fact, us It has worked for us perfectly and without major problems in terms of its use.

It has been being of great help to us to automate and digitize a large amount of information in a fairly safe, easy, fast and accessible way, in such a way that we can access the data in a more secure and efficient way at any time that we need it, thus facilitating everything that refers to consultations, editing and information management.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

First off, the team is great and extremely helpful, communicative, available, and frankly, cool. The customer service level they provide in setting up and maintaining the Intello infrastructure in your environment is a step above. They are incredibly responsive to bug fixes and prioritization of deal-breaking or pain points related to product and ask smart, diligent questions to make sure that the right solution is created based on the problem to be solved, not just the ask.

It is integration heavy and works well with most startup (and larger) environments, particularly centered around “core portfolio” services—IDP (Google, Okta, OneLogin), a spend platform (Xero, Expensify, Netsuite), and daily use tools (Zoom, Dropbox, etc.). Because it creates ample cross-checking, the likelihood of a service in use slipping through the cracks goes way down.

The product itself is also incredibly customizable and serves well for cross-functional use between IT, Compliance, DevOps, Finance, and in some cases, HR. Because teams can create fields applicable to their specific logging needs (and also log usage by team and department), it can serve as a reliable source of truth for all.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Intello is still growing, and there are aspects of the product that still reflect that. It does not (yet) have tiered permissioning and access levels, could use a UI refresh, and needs a more robust syncing mechanism when tying teams and departments to existing Okta groups for automation.

**Recommendations to others considering SailPoint:**

Intello has committed to build a product that is IT-focused, but has done a stellar job of building a product that is multi-functional for a wider audience. When considering the IT community, they shine at creating spaces for us to meet and collaborate, understand our philosophies, and connect like-minded professionals. They really stand behind the work they do and make a concerted effort that it represents the decision-makers they want engaging (and know have to in a corporate environment) and utilizing this product.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intello is a fantastic tool for discovery when you have no collective source to start with. It provides a catalogue almost immediately that can be evaluated and maintained with easy access to remediation and access rescinding when the tool is no longer in use.

It is easy to use, making the spin-up time minimal and the cross-team collaboration more accessible (our partner teams were in there logging their own data almost immediately).

This was an exceptional addition during our compliance reviews (particularly SOC2) where before we had no source of truth around our tools and their compliance requirements. It was both a deliverable list with context, but also a quick location of reference and action when preparing for audit or responding to audit requirements.

We also found that it served as an active track of spend, which was a surprisingly beneficial way of beginning to create an argument for tool retention and expansion or retirement. Furthermore, we could see if people were signing up for trials in an unapproved method (from spend spikes) and point them to our contract and/or provide an appropriate hand slap. It’s a useful portfolio when building metrics around contract renewals (and a location to keep your contracts)  and assessing the right number of users/seats to price.

Full visibility of our usage data for all SaaS apps and install-based SaaS like Microsoft Office. Also only vendor who can actually reveal all shadow IT, even the free apps that employees are signing up for.

I would like our accounting team to use it more, I think they'd find a lot of value in it. Right now it's primarily IT and Security users in Intello. But that's probably on us for not having the time to loop them in more.

Integrate. Everything.

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've saved a lot of money on pro licenses that weren't being used and we could downgrade to free. We were able to lock down unsanctioned apps that people had signed up for or expensed on their own. Intello also automatically notifies us if one of the SaaS vendors we use experiences a data breach or security vulnerability, and I can see in the platform who is using it so I can push out updates or shut down 3rd party permissions right from the platform.

I can see what would have taken an ungodly amount of man hours to manually pull reports across dozens of systems. It also integrates across multiple teams including accounting, security, IT, procurement, accounts payable, etc. Surfacing the data in really useful ways has been very helpful to our company.

The product and category is young so all the features that are possible and in the road map aren't available yet.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

Before SailPoint was introduced to my company, there was a lot of manual work that one had to be done for one person on my team. However, with this product, it has made our employees self sufficient and increase productivity.

I also liked the search functionality of the roles within the tool. I can start typing and quickly find the program or role that I want to access.

I also like the tracking of the progress once the request is submitted. It shows who has the next steps within the request. Therefore, if I feel like it is taking too slow, I can easily see where the request is stuck with. 

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Something that frustrates me about SailPoint is that I'd like additional notifications to alert me the status of my request.

The interface of the system could use a facelift. The color could be brighter and more visual aspects and icons to make the page more appealing. Sometimes I feel like the simplicity of the user face actually makes it more confusing.

I think the tracking of the the request should be included in the email notifications or alerts so that the user does not have to proactively go into SailPoint to get all of the details.

I would continue to work on notification alerts.

SailPoint has cut administrative duties on people having to submit access roles on behalf of other people. Now employees can search for roles and submit for themselves, thus saving time and getting the access quicker. This has benefited our company immensely.

It allows lots of Customization, which is the best part of it. It gives so many connectors for all target applications.

It is very User Friendly, you dont need to put lots of effort to educate the users.

Due to its customization feature, the support is very limited by Sailpoint.

Well, we are very happy because our process has to changed since the beginning and ERP Maestro help us: using workflows and notifications, their risk analysis, and the automatic provisioning. Actually your solution provide us more information and analytics that we haven't explored and review, we will do more gradually. And your university and webinars are great, I have participated in a couple and get some answers for doubts about using the tool.

At first, I didn't like the way the extracts were obtained, but they have also improved in that aspect.

The conflict reports are not so easy to understand for users who do not have a technical profile.

On some occasions, access was not properly granted in secure provisioning, but that has also improved a lot and we almost no longer have incidents in that regard.

I highly recommend it because it is a tool that is easy to implement and use, delivering results in a very short time.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

Easy to use and put in ticket requests through this software. We use this as our main ticketing software when users are requesting access accounts to our electronic medical records system we manage and Sailpoint allows us to track, document in and resolve these ticket requests with ease. We are also able to communicate with users within Sailpoint and collect the necessary information in order to build out these accounts within our system.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

Sometimes it is a little challenging to navigate and decipher the messages coming and and how to read and route accordingly. The messages are organized by various lines and it is challenging to determine the correct information to collect to then build out our user accounts. The coding for the documentation is a bit abstract. Perhaps it could be organized better.

**Recommendations to others considering SailPoint:**

Make sure your coding system of how documentation should be entered and collected is very clear because otherwise it will be challenging to figure out what data needs to be carried over from Sailpoint into the system you are collecting the data for.

We use this as our main ticketing software when users are requesting access accounts to our electronic medical records system we manage and Sailpoint allows us to track, document in and resolve these ticket requests with ease.

**What do you like best about SailPoint?**

What's not to Like about ERP Maestro?  Its simple deployment gets you up and running in minutes. User-friendly interface, multiple reporting methods, onscreen queries, audit friendly reports and logs, EAM module is simplified and easy to maintain, on-screen dashboards, digitally signed exported documents for auditors, User Review module, and their customer support team is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about SailPoint?**

There isn't much i dislike about the tool, I use it multiple times of the day. 

**What problems is SailPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The EAM module was what we started with; before ERP Maestro, our process was very manual, and it became unmanageable to comply with the audit requirements. The EAM process was simplified and has made our audit process for Firefighter access a breeze. We purchased the Access Reviewer module recently, and it has reduced the amount of reporting time more than half.  We went from a very manual User Access Review process, that would take 1-2 months to complete.  Now that we use Access reviewer, the process can be completed quickly and electronically. We also are using the  SOD module and What-if scenarios.  The rule book provided is in-depth and easy to update.
