What do you like best about SAGA GIS?

The ease with which one can perform geospatial data analysis on variable projection systems and represent data using a very user-friendly GUI where you can open multiple windows at once are some of the best features of SAGA GIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAGA GIS?

Sometimes integrating with external software like QGIS causes some inconvenience, but nothing that cannot be sorted out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SAGA GIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

I usually perform terrain analysis, generating carious layers using high-resolution digital elevation models and creating models and simulations of landslides to understand their dynamic nature. Further, image analysis carried out using SAGA GIS produced satisfactory results as compared to higher end softwares which consumes more space and are costlier.
