"Easy S3-Based Storage Relief for Salesforce with an Intuitive, Familiar File UI"
5/5
What do you like best about S-Drive?

The biggest win for us is defiantly the cost relief on salesforce data storage upgrade are and S-drive basically bypass that by mapping everything directly to our own Amazon S3 buckets. As an admin the configuration vis the AppExchange was surprisingly painless.

Setting up the AWS credentials buckets policies and mapping out remote sites didn't require heavy developer hours which I appreciated for our Day-to-day user the UI is incredibly intuitive because it mimics a standard Window Explorer or macOS Finder style folder hierarchy right inside our account and Opportunity layouts. they don't have to deal with the messy flat structure of standard salesforce files. They can drag and drop, build deep subfolders, preview PDFs instantly and user S-URLs to securely share massive files with external client without worrying about Standard email attachment size limits. What do you dislike about S-Drive?

Honestly. there are very few drawbacks to the tool, and the team is highly receptive to feedback if I had to point out something for improvement it's that the initial configurations require a solid understanding of AWS IAM policies and bucket permissions. IF you aren't familiar with Amazon 's backend it might take you a few extra minutes of reading the documentation to get everything mapped perfectly.

Additionally, on very rare occasions during high- traffic hours, rendering a live preview for an exceptionally large PDF can take an extra second or two it's completely manageable and doesn't disrupt our workflow, btu optimization for heavy file rendering would be a great bonus.
