The biggest win for us was being able to tie specific TV airings to real-time site activity with more accuracy. Instead of looking at TV as a broad awareness driver, we could identify which spots, networks, and dayparts were moving the needle. For example, we identified a few early morning placements that were consistently punching above their weight, which gave us the confidence to shift budget and improve performance pretty quickly.
Another benefit was it saved us an incredible amount of time. Rather than sifting through fragmented data, we had a centralized view of performance that combined airing logs, response curves, and conversion signals. This made it easy to translate insights into client-facing recommendations and optimization strategies and significantly improved our ability to justify linear investment.
Another major benefit was the speed and responsiveness of the RSLT team. From onboarding through ongoing optimization, they were very hands-on and proactive in working with us and our client to customize the reporting in a way that was most beneficial for our business. This partnership approach made a meaningful difference, especially when we were needing to make adjustments or add new elements as our client's strategy changed over time. One of the broader challenges we’ve run into, more so with the CTV ecosystem than RSLT itself, is that not all publishers are willing or able to provide access to first-party, log-level data just yet. That can limit certain inventory some of our clients want. That said, RSLT has been actively working to expand publisher integrations and bring more partners into the fold. It's not a deal breaker since many major publishers are allowing access, and in the end we believe first-party data is far more accurate than what a pixel can capture.
