""Fast, Easy Floor Planning — Just Needs Custom Material Uploads""
4/5
What do you like best about RoomSketcher?

What I liked most about RoomSketcher was how easy it made creating professional-looking floor plans without needing any real design background. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, so I could rough out a layout in minutes and then refine it with accurate measurements. The 3D visualization feature was a standout, since it let me walk through a space before any work started, which was especially helpful for spotting layout issues early. What do you dislike about RoomSketcher?

What I liked least about RoomSketcher was the limited ability to bring in my own materials. The built-in library is decent, but it doesn't fully cover the specific finishes, flooring, and fixtures I actually use on my projects, so I often ended up settling for a close approximation instead of an accurate representation. This made it harder to get a true sense of how a space would look with the exact materials I planned to install. Being able to upload custom textures or product images would make the tool far more useful for real-world planning and client presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Therese Magnus of RoomSketcher

Thank you for the review, Stacey. It’s great to hear that RoomSketcher helps you plan projects faster and make clearer decisions before construction starts. I understand how useful it would be to add your own materials for a more accurate preview, and I’ll make sure to share that feedback with the team.
