What do you like best about Rizer?

What I appreciate most working at PackSolution Stuttgart GmbH is definitely the Rizer Recycling feature paired with fully customizable opportunity stages, it completely changed how we handle B2B packaging leads coming off our commercetools webshop. A large share of our industrial buyers freeze their procurement for months due to budget freezes or internal production adjustments, and before adopting Rizer those paused prospects would just disappear from our sight. Back in February we quoted a big corrugated box order for a regional food wholesaler, then their procurement team went completely silent. Under our old SalesTown CRM setup I would have written this lead off, buried among hundreds of other entries and never circled back. Rizer Recycling flagged this as a dormant opportunity and pushed out internal follow‑up reminders for our team. We reached out again two‑and‑a‑half months later and ended up locking in that bulk order. On top of recovering stalled deals, I can build opportunity stages that match our real packaging business instead of forcing us to fit into generic sales pipelines. I created stages for sample requested, quote issued, price negotiation and project on hold. Every time a customer submits a sample request through our online store, I update the opportunity stage and log material requirements and box dimensions right inside the record. One time our field sales rep nearly sent a pushy follow‑up email to an auto‑parts client, before he checked the opportunity stage and saw their physical packaging samples had not even shipped out yet. That saved us from an awkward misstep with an important industrial prospect. With these two features working together, my team no longer spends multiple work hours every single month scrolling through piles of opportunities trying to figure out which paused clients deserve outreach. Our e‑commerce coordinators and external sales reps share the exact same live status view for every web‑sourced inquiry, so there is zero confusion about where each B2B packaging project stands. Even with all the CSV import headaches we regularly run into, these core capabilities cut down missed business chances and make our digital sales channel far more reliable for our 142‑person packaging manufacturing firm. What do you dislike about Rizer?

There are quite a few frustrating pain points within Rizer that add unnecessary manual work for our e‑commerce operations team, nearly all tied to CSV‑based data handling since there is no native commercetools integration. Each week I pull new sample requests and B2B inquiry data out of commercetools and upload the CSV into Rizer, but the platform will not save my column‑mapping presets. Every single import I have to manually pair every CSV column against Rizer’s custom fields from scratch. During a large‑scale import back in July, I accidentally mismapped the sample delivery deadline column. This mistake overwrote existing timestamp data for fourteen active client opportunities. I had to pull raw records directly from our commercetools backend logs and fix every single entry one‑by‑one, burning more than an hour of my busy workday I should have spent overseeing our online sales channel. Bad UTF‑8 character handling on CSV uploads is another persistent nuisance for our Germany‑based manufacturing company. Whenever company names include German umlaut characters like ä, ö or ü, those characters get garbled after import, which spawns brand‑new duplicate contact profiles. Last month this exact error generated six duplicate client records for different industrial manufacturers. One of our field sales reps did not notice the duplicated entry and almost sent two identical formal quotation emails to one metal‑components supplier. It was pure luck I spotted the duplicate record ten minutes before the email went out, otherwise we would have looked extremely unprofessional to that potential high‑volume customer. Beyond import issues, there is also no warning prompt before imports overwrite existing opportunity data. There have been moments where junior team members start an import without realising they will alter live records. We also lack manufacturing‑specific reporting templates; all our sample‑request and quotation turnaround reports need to be built manually. These flaws do not make Rizer unusable, yet they keep creating avoidable risks and extra repetitive cleanup work for our small group of Rizer platform users.
