Vanilla PostgreSQL with generous limits for testing and building things, combined with the excellent table explorer, takes the experience to another level. + ai assistant for writing sql queries makes the experience far better .... Even when a project has been inactive for some time and they’re planning to delete the database, they still email and notify customers beforehand. That kind of communication really builds trust.
