I produce a weekly technology publication with video and podcast versions, and my guests are almost never in the same country as me. Riverside records each person locally, so the final file does not depend on how good the internet call was that day. That single feature solved my main problem. I also get separate tracks for each speaker, which makes editing much faster. The setup is simple enough that a guest who has never used the platform can open a browser link and be ready in a few minutes, which matters when the guest is a busy executive and I only have one hour of their time. There is nothing I dislike about Riverside, what I'd like to have is the ability to save my media by project instead of having all media cross-projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Riverside solving and how is that benefiting you? I record long interviews between Mexico City, the United States and Europe. Before, the quality of the recording depended on the connection during the call, and a weak connection meant a weak episode. Now the picture and the sound are the same quality no matter where the guest is. I also publish the same conversation in two formats, video on YouTube and audio as a podcast, and having clean separate files for each speaker means I do not have to fix problems later.
