You can use it in your meetings to incorporate your goals. The Week In Synch keeps you focused on what has to happen this week and makes you consider if your goals for the week are too lofty so you don't over commit yourself. **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** Nothing about the system, but with our implementation. We had a great trainer (Melissa), but associates were improsing rules on format without discussing or explaining it to the group. These did not line up with the tutorials that Rhythm Provided. Perhaps required training and completion of the tutorials before rollout to avoid shifting direction during roll out. **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am more focused on the main items that matter. I have clarity and better insight into the entire organization's very easily. It's so helpful to gain visibility into executives' goals and understand how my goals impact the entire organization. The interface is nice looking and generally pretty easy to use. I have never had any issues figuring out how to do something on my own. The tool also helps our teams stay on track during weekly meetings to ensure we are all tracking towards meeting our goals. **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** Linking goals up can be a bit tricky to figure out at first. The difference between actions, KPIS, and Priorities can be difficult to explain or understand. There are a ton of features and I am not sure how they should be used or how they can help our teams. It's separate from our other performance software and I have to go to three different places to track goals. The most important feature which I like is the ability to create a project plan with detailed timelines and defined actions for each of the stakeholder. This definition of the project gives you a clear picture of what needs to be done, when is it required to be done, and who is the responsible person for the delivery. This removes any kind of ambiguity from the project leading to a perfect timely delivery. The second best feature of the software is the week in sync meetings, wherein you track the development which has happened over the week. You discuss the achievements, the areas where the responsible person is having a problem (pain point), the steps for next week and finally the overall status of the project **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** The only thing which I dislike about rhythm is that the user experience is slow, and the tool lacks the level of automation and so it sometimes becomes a laborious process to add priorities (sub-projects) and then link'/re link them to main project **Recommendations to others considering Rhythm:** A must-have software if working on a number of projects, because it will help you track each of the projects in detail **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work as a management consultant and provide PMO service to the client. My management style has been inspecting what I feel needs with follow up calls. The way I was doing it with outlook, and team notes, I will admit at times it gets overwhelming to stay on course until the results it there. Searching through reports to see if scores have changed, find myself going down rabbit holes and nothing move ahead by the end of the week. With Rhythm, once you set up the priorities and KPIs it takes the guesswork out on what you need to focus on and tracks the success as you go. I'd recommend utilizing all of the onboarding help that Rhythm provides you. They're the experts using the software and they love to show others how to utilize it to better their company. We have cross-functional goals each quarter and Rhythm is the only tool that is used by the whole company, so it's very important in tracking and communicating progress on those specific needs. Child milestones are particularly helpful for that type of cross-team work. My goals can also be linked to company, team, or cross-functional goals they influence. I've also started exploring more features recently, like the Watchlist. Watchlists can help you easily keep up with initiatives that you aren't actively contributing to but that impact your success, or that you simply have interest in following. **What do you dislike about Rhythm?** Sometimes I get a little lost in the differentiation of Strategy v. Execution when looking for different types of goals. I'm getting more used to the interface, but I still find myself clicking around quite a bit. I finally noticed the search feature recently, which resolves the issue when lookin for specific items; however, I'm likely not getting the full picture of what's going on with other teams/initiatives. There are a lot of features that I haven't explored, like Meeting Notes and Week In Sync. I think users often have other tools they use for these, so I see less value in those specific features. I wouldn't mind the ability to choose the frequency of tracking progress based on the type of goal. All goals appear with each week, and we have some goals that are only measured once a month, quarter, or even annually. I end up repeating statuses a lot just to ensure items aren't left blank in these cases, even though there is no active work happening for that specific goal. As part of our company onboarding, we each get certified with Rhythm's Superfan assessment. I found myself having a hard time easily connecting the ideas in the literature to the feature sets in the Rhythm application. I think part of this is change in language that was used in the company vs. the book vs. the tooling, like "Rocks." I think there have been a lot of user interface changes since then, so I'm much more comfortable now. **What problems is Rhythm solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think it helps me easily communicate my progress to my manager and the business. I add comments when I status, and others can view that whenever they need to check-in. This saves time in one-on-ones and other meetings, allowing for more intentional discussion on removing blockers, etc. The Job Scorecard feature is also the best framework I've ever used for performance evaluations, as my manager and I can each rate success in all areas that relate to performance: job responsibilities, skills, and quarter/year-specific priorities and KPIs. You can download or print different types of reports for this purpose based on the type of review and need for thoroughness. I really enjoy having this as the framework for discussion and being able to take notes with the corresponding item as we review. ### 31.
