What do you like best about Rhymetec?

It’s been very helpful to have a dedicated Account Manager, Security Program Manager, and InfoSec Manager. I’m not just a client submitting tickets to the next available agent; my Rhymetec team knows me, my team, and my systems. If I ever have an issue or concern and my Program Manager isn’t available, another member of the team can be reached and will step in to take care of the problem. What do you dislike about Rhymetec?

I don’t have many negative things to say about Rhymetec, but my one dislike—albeit understandable—has been the turnover in Program Managers over the years. In five years, we’ve had four Program Managers. Each time someone new comes in, onboarding them to our system is burdensome in the same way that onboarding a new employee is. That said, I do understand it happens as people move into new careers, change jobs, or grow within the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Rhymetec:

Rhymetec offers a wide range of services, so it’s worth taking the time to review everything they provide and to understand exactly what you’re agreeing to before you sign a contract with them. I recommend asking plenty of questions. In my experience, they’re happy to answer and to explain anything you might not fully understand, using terms that make sense once you ask. Overall, I’ve found them to be an ethical, moral company that will work with you to get on the right path, but given the variety of services they offer, it’s important to look over all the options and choose what you truly need. What problems is Rhymetec solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’re a small business that wanted to achieve SOC 2 Type II in a short period of time. We needed a vCISO who knew the ins and outs of the SOC 2 process and could guide us through every step—controls, the observation period, and evidence collection—then act as our liaison with the auditors during the audit. Since our internal team is so focused on keeping our clients happy, it’s been a huge help to have Rhymetec looking out for us and keeping us on track.
