We have six product teams, and they used to run releases in six different ways. The standard templates gave us one approach for feature and defect work, with approval steps in the same places across teams. At our size, consistency matters a lot. The DORA reporting was the other big one. We used to compile those numbers by hand every quarter and nobody fully trusted them.
