I appreciate Revit's ease and versatility in MEP modeling and drawing creation. It reduces drafting errors and improves multidisciplinary coordination, which is a lifesaver. The collaborative approach is another big plus, allowing tasks to be done with ease and offering different options to execute tasks. I also find the automation with Dynamo + PyRevit to be incredibly beneficial, along with the data management through cloud options. The program's ability to automatically update plans, sections, and schedules simultaneously when the model is revised is a feature I really value. I find that Revit doesn't have built-in options for frequent tasks like batch PDF and DWG export with custom settings, which makes me rely on other add-ins. The Autosave feature doesn't always work properly, and it would be helpful if Revit families or projects could be downgraded to previous versions. Sharing design standards between files could be easier, and I wish the interface, such as window configuration, was more like MS Windows 11 and offered a Full dark mode. Compatibility with Excel should be improved without needing third-party add-ins, and managing Cobie data could be simplified since it's quite complex right now.
