What I appreciate most about Rethink Behavioral Health is its commitment to providing a comprehensive, all-in-one platform that continues to evolve with the needs of the ABA industry. The Program Library, Resource Library, and Funder Reports have been especially valuable for our organization, helping us streamline clinical programming, build initial treatment plans, and support reauthorizations. There is definitely a learning curve, but as staff become more familiar and confident with the system, these tools can meaningfully reduce administrative time and improve overall efficiency.
I also value Rethink’s emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement. They regularly expand their resources and introduce new features to keep up with the changing demands of ABA providers. As a long-term customer, I’ve enjoyed seeing the platform grow over time, and I’ve appreciated having opportunities to test newer features and share feedback.
From a UI/UX perspective, the platform takes some time to learn, but it becomes more efficient with practice. We haven’t really discussed integrations or how Rethink connects with other systems. Performance has generally been solid, though we’ve experienced occasional glitches during releases and updates, including rare data-transfer issues.
In terms of pricing and ROI, the clinical resources and funder reports do save staff time, although we haven’t formally evaluated the subscription cost against those time savings. For support and onboarding, I appreciated the collaborative transition to Rethink’s billing services, which included three meetings and felt well coordinated.
On the AI side, I’ve tested the AI Dashboard and Parent Hub. BillingAI seemed promising, but it didn’t fully accommodate the billing complexities specific to our organization. Overall, Rethink demonstrates a clear understanding of how important it is to build technology that supports both clinical care and business operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the challenges with Rethink Behavioral Health is balancing its continuous innovation with platform stability and usability. While I appreciate the frequent updates and new features, they can occasionally create a learning curve for staff and introduce temporary glitches, particularly within the mobile app. We've experienced instances where session data did not transfer correctly following updates. Although these situations have been rare and most technical issues can be resolved internally, data reliability is especially important in ABA, where accurate documentation directly supports clinical decision-making.
Another area for improvement is the continued refinement of their AI-powered tools, particularly BillingAI. While the concept is promising, we found that it did not fully accommodate the complexities of varying state and funder requirements, making it difficult to maintain an efficient in-house billing process. We ultimately transitioned to Rethink's billing services. Although it's too early to evaluate the results, their onboarding process has been organized and collaborative.
I would also like to see continued improvements in the overall user experience, particularly making new features easier to adopt without interrupting established workflows. When software updates require additional troubleshooting or staff adjustment, some of the potential time and cost savings can be temporarily offset.
Overall, I appreciate Rethink's willingness to innovate, but I believe greater consistency in platform performance, smoother feature rollouts, and continued AI development would make an already valuable system even stronger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
