What do you like best about Restream?

We're going on our 4th year of running a Monday-Friday livestream (YouTube, X, Facebook), and between producing and promoting the show I don't have time for glitches or issues. The Restream live studio platform is reliable, user-friendly, and intuitive. Setting up shows and getting them out to our audience is lightning fast and easy. Restream's a la carte pricing style allows me to purchase only the features I need, making it the best bang for your buck option in the web-based livestreaming arena. The admin/support team has been nothing but friendly and reliable as well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Restream?

There's a bit of a learning curve if you're coming over from a platform like Streamyard—the two platforms are similar but not identical. This is just a minor inconvenience, not a deal breaker.

Additionally in a dream scenario I'd love a bit more options in the custom layouts on the platform. The built-in ones are great, but I'd love the ability to tweak the little things (hide name and titles for specific guests, have the "go live" and "end stream" buttons automatically play my intro/outro videos, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Restream solving and how is that benefiting you?

Restream gives us access to a world class livestreaming platform without locking us into business tier pricing.

We were using Streamyard for the first few years, but as Streamyard jumped from new owner to new owner the company decided to lock us into their highest tier of pricing NOT based on the features we were using, but simply because we were a business. (in a span of 3 years, streamyard jacked up their pricing by 800%!)

On top of our live show, Restream is also providing us with a high quality online studio to record exclusive content for our customer base, which has been super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
