What I like most about Resizing.app is how fast and simple it is to implement and use. The interface is clean and doesn’t require any learning curve, as you just upload, resize, and download. It supports many formats like JPG, PNG, and HEIC, and the output quality remains excellent even after resizing. Also, when downloading the image, the website always allows me to choose the output format, which is really great. I love how the website lets anyone upload and resize images without making an account on the website, which makes the process so fast. In my opinion, the advantages of this platform make the disadvantages not very significant. However, there is nothing without disadvantages, and one of those is not being able to resize images in bulk, as it is not supported. I think this would save much time and continue their goal of saving time for the user as much as possible. Also, I think being able to resize my images without making an account is a real advantage, but I hope there was an option to sign up and save my resized photos on the website in case I needed to access them in the future. I use Resizing.app to resize my photos not just by resolution, but also for optimizing the file size and dimensions for every platform I need! It's so fast and intuitive. The main motive behind using this web application is that:

1. It fast implementation.

2. Converts photos to other formats without any compromise in quality

3. Excellent image compression.(I have been using this to compress my high quality pics to share through whatsapp)

4. It is free of cost (I mean who provides all these now a days for free).

Resizing.app is an ultimate time saver tool for my work flow! These days you get humongous sized photos on most phones and cameras which wouldn't fit anywhere. Now, I just drag and drop them into this website and then they're the perfect size for emails, social media.

Here's what I liked the best about Resizing.app:

1. Free: The app is free; there is no need to purchase anything. While the competition charges money in the form of credits or regular subscriptions, this one is 100% free.

2. Privacy-friendly: You don't even need an email address to use Resizing.app. All the files are stored locally in your browser for maximum privacy. Plus, they have clearly mentioned on their website that they don't sell user data to make money.

3. Supports a lot of image formats: Resizing.app supports a lot of image formats, like BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, and so on. As a user, I would say that these formats should be enough for most users. Plus, you can convert your images to three formats: JPEG, PNG, and WEBP, which is nice.

4. Easy to use: This is undoubtedly the easiest app to use to resize photos. You can resize by width and height, or you can do it manually via sliders. You just need to tweak three options, and now you have the updated image.

Resizing.app isn't perfect. Here's what I didn't like:

1. Useless extension: The extension does the same job as that of the website. Nothing extra. I was expecting to be able to download images from websites like Unsplash at the resolution of my choice, but that's not the case. It just adds a layer of convenience, nothing else.

2. Outdated: The project seems to have been abandoned. The website is functional, although the extension was last updated in 2020, and due to newer tech, it occasionally throws in some errors. The last blog was published in 2020.

Resizing.app is the best photo resizing extension I discovered online. It is fast and comes in clutch at the need of image resizing. We don't need to open any website or download any software. It is really handy for quick photo editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only issue I found is that the save function lags out or might be taking time to process the image. If the picture is processing I suggest adding a progress slide that shows the time it would take to process the image while saving it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
