## Reddit for business Reviews
  ### 1. Thieves - avoid at all costs

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Nothing. Horrible service. Fraudulent. They billed for clicks they never delivered, and customer service lied repeatedly. Terrible service, not to be trusted.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Everything. They billed hundreds of dollars without delivering a single legitimate click, and lied over and over about the issue being tracking-related.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have not solved any issues for me. They've created numerous issues. I'm going through a chargeback process with my credit card as we speak.

  ### 2. Effective for niche outreach, but lacks essential tools for creators.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raj B. | Data Annotator, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit makes it easier to connect with highly targeted communities. I’ve used it to share trekking and travel-related videos, and it consistently helps me reach people genuinely interested in those topics. The platform is free to use, encourages authentic engagement, and doesn’t require paid tools to begin building visibility.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

While Reddit has strong community engagement, it’s not user-friendly for business use. There are no analytics or post-scheduling tools, and posts can easily get removed if subreddit rules aren’t followed strictly. The rules vary across communities and moderation can feel inconsistent, which makes it difficult for creators trying to grow.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reddit helps me reach the right audience in niche segments, something traditional platforms struggle with. I create trekking and travel content, and Reddit gives me access to users who actively discuss and care about these topics. This helps me improve content, gather feedback, and discover new content ideas from real community conversations.

  ### 3. Great for sharing and connecting. Easy to post, but creators need better tools.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karishma S. | Anime Content Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit is great for finding communities, sharing content, and having real conversations. As a user, I love the endless topics and helpful replies. As a creator, it’s easy to post and get feedback, but the app lacks tools like post scheduling or analytics. Still, it’s one of the best places to grow and connect with others.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

As a user, Reddit can be fun, but the app feels clunky at times. As a content creator, it's frustrating; no analytics, no scheduling, and posts often get buried. The rules across subreddits are inconsistent, and moderation can feel random. Not great if you're trying to grow or share content seriously.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reddit for Business helps reach the right audience in niche communities.
It solves the problem of poor targeting and low engagement on other platforms. For me, it means better visibility, real feedback, and connecting with people who actually care about my content.

  ### 4. Helping users engage in unique ways!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Namarata G. | Assistant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit is a unique social media platform in itself which is filled with sub reddits based on various topics and interests. It has a very vibrant and interactive community of users. It is easy to sign up and navigate on Reddit, plus its inteface is really catchy.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Some things I dislike about Reddit is:
1. It is difficult to make a post on certain sub reddits as it is quickly removed by the auto mods.
2. Even after asking Reddit to show me fewer posts from certain sub reddit, they keep popping up in my profile. It gets really frustrating at times.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reddit had helped me reach our target audience in no time. As a business we were able to create a community of people who had similar interests. It has helped our business in engaging prospects and handling grievances of existing users.

  ### 5. Helping users engage in healthy discussions!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit is an outstanding social media platform that allows its users to join a community, post content, and engage in discussions with other users. Reddit makes it easy to create or join a community and connect with like minded people. It is a decent platform for casual and business uses.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Posting on Reddit can be a little tricky for the new users as certain posts are quickly removed. Secondly, there are lots of bots and spam accounts present on Reddit who often harass other users.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business, Reddit is helping us create a community and engage with like minded people. It has helped us reach out our target audience in no time and engage in niche marketing. It is further helping us in promoting our products, resolving customer queries etc.

  ### 6. It's an okay Platform

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mijken M. | Accounting Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

I like how you can hop on and be able to find out local rumors and whatnot.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

This platform is very overwhelming and sometimes confusing. There are 100 million different topics that you can dive into speculation about.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me explore the local community's opinions and biases.

  ### 7. The fast lane of the information superhighway... for better or for worse

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal T. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

The way the website is organized through subreddits makes it easy to follow a wide range of topics, be they broad or niche. It also allows a user to cordon themselves off from any communities they wouldn't like to be a part of.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

The wide array of varied subreddits on the website allows some of the less desired ones to pop up and survive. This and the admins' lax hold on moderation sometimes causes a somewhat toxic culture to form in certain corners.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a part of a marketing agency, Reddit allows me to be on top of upcoming trends as it has become one of the more influential websites that has a significant impact on popular Internet culture.

  ### 8. Review of reddit from business perspective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron E. | Sr Sales Enablement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

What I like best about using reddit are the up votes for what's most helpful from the user community. Most the time that information is accurate and that allows trust within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

This is a picky dislike but I think the interface could be updated to a sleeker looking design. Overall though the functionality is what makes reddit one of the best independent community platforms that we have for information discourse.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find it helpful to find quick relevant information or graphics for my daily program management work. I know there are much more professional establishments but the community aspect I do enjoy.

Within the good - the comments, there is also a lot of unnecessary remarks and comments. This is the best place to connect and find people to network with! It keeps things interesting.

Reddit provides a lot of visibility into what is going on all over the world. It gives a lot of opinions and also references to other news sources and provides a lot of great resources.

Although Reddit is a good platform in general, some users in it can become unnecessarily toxic and disturb you. There are too many bot accounts and they can spam in any community.

Compared to other social media, Reddit is much more flexible and helps you incredibly in this regard. In general, it is much freer than other social media, so you can be more comfortable.

Please be careful. It has a very high bounce rate. Recommend monitoring the account well on a daily basis.

The Karma points really annoyed and unfair process in the world of social media and communication this seems strange little the moderators also remove your posting and sharings without meaning need to re evaluate this section

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

  ### 18. Able to reach niche audiences

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit ads enable niche targeting. With so many unique and targeted subreddits, it is easy to reach whomever you want and especially niche audiences.

This is also a great way to reach young, technical males.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Reddit isn't a B2B platform. Many of the users of Reddit are students or young. Or they are techies that are very resistant to obvious marketing. Reddit ads don't always integrate well with the subreddit and often seem like ads. Perhaps the issue here is targeting or the need to create a conversation around your product.

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

Make sure you yourself use Reddit. Reddit has a unique culture and many Reddit users can be extremely critical.

Also make sure you're familiar enough so that you have seen other Reddit ads. Reddit ad copy is very different than other platforms.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to generate qualified leads for technical B2B cybersecurity products (i.e. firewalls, data security, and firewall management systems). Trying to reach out to the network manager and the targeted technical user, who may not be responsive to LinkedIn ads while being more targeted than Google and reach a decision maker audience that is unavailable on Facebook and Twitter.

  ### 19. It is very casual and converstaional website.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

I find it expensive platform in terms of promotion

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are trying to improve ads platform I like that.

  ### 20. A Professional App with a Casual Theme

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitali K. | Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

I like how Reddit is a highly filtered platform that abides strictly by the rules to keep spammers and irrelevant posts at bay. You can find an imperceivable range of subreddits to join that will cater to your specific needs. From finding jobs and internships to surfing memes, Reddit got you covered. I love and really rely on how the moderators take their community seriously and make sure everyone is respected and nothing offensive is circulated. I am a fan of how they run and maintain the Reddit App specifically.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Reddit sometimes gets unstable when using on mobile. The sound function of the videos stops working suddenly. The App also needs to improve in order to deal with weak network areas as well. Sometimes, I feel like I always have to use a very high speed internet in order to use the Reddit App.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reddit helps me keep track of a lot of useful information while also keeping me entertained.
I post on a couple of Science Subreddits that connect me to a lot of field professionals and help me aid my research by providing high quality answers that are open to discussion.

  ### 21. Great website for seeing content on the internet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

I like how I can see content from all sorts of categories that I am interested in. I also like how i can view all popular subreddits and discover new categories.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

The searching could be better, and the UI in some spots.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Reddit to browse content from the internet that I am intersted in. The benefits I have realized are that content from many different sources is presented in one place, and there are also discussions about it in the same spot.

  ### 22. Reddit is a great community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

I like reddit because of the sub communities

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

That there's a lack of moderation in subs.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding resources for careers

  ### 23. Surprisingly great for work resources and networking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evelina G. | Lishma Fellow, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

If you're familiar with any kind of forums, Reddit has a very intuitive and easy to use user interface. It has a huge plethora of "subreddits" based on subject or interest, and many of them are professionally oriented. The work-related subreddits in particular have a culture of collaboration and friendliness, and they're great for online networking, learning from others, asking and answering questions, sharing tips and job leads, and crowd-sourcing solutions to problems.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

The search function could be better, as the results aren't always organized in a way that makes sense. It can just take a little bit of playing around to get what you need from the search function.

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

It's free to use, so doesn't hurt to try, and both the desktop page and mobile app are extremely convenient. I recommend investing some time in browsing various subreddits related to your industry, until you find the one that works best for you personally. Make sure to check out any wiki pages or FAQ's that may be available on a subreddit page, as well as recommended related subreddits. Just be aware that it can be very easy to get distracted by all the various non-work-related subreddits!

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been great for finding clients and jobs, as well as crowdsourcing solutions to problems such as unresponsive clients or payment issues. I have been pleasantly surprised at just how much useful information and resources are available on the site, and I've learned a ton about my industry from reading the forums and talking to the other users.

  ### 24. Reddit is a surprisingly useful marketing tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy R. | Marketing and Digital Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

I love that I can tap into niche groups, subreddits, and online communities to share content with the people that we actually want viewing our content.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

There's a bit too much content moderation at times - people are very picky about what they see. Though we take time to immerse ourselves in the group or subreddit before sharing anything about ourselves, we'll often get complaints about advertisements.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tapping into a totally new, and often more engaged demographic of users.

  ### 25. Great marketing platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irma N. | SMM (Social Media Marketing & Advertising), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit provide access to the specific target audiences. This social network with people who live in target locations and interested in specific topics. Great place for communication in marketing and technologies directions.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Using one link for only one community, so need to chose one place to post. User who want make a post with link could choose between small business brand community or other big publisher media community to increase reach. When it comes to paid ads, the first things I consider measuring effectiveness of advertising efforts is conversion rate. When I think about what could I like or what could I dislike about specific advertising campaigns, I'm also look at cpc, cpm, cpa, and many other advertising metrics and dimensions. In other words, I like when cost per click and cost per impressions are low but conversion rate is high. The same way, I dislike when see high cost per action (cost per conversion) and low conversion rate.

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

Reddit is great big community as advertising platform and social network which marketing specialists or business owners should consider as a part of marketing strategy.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most benefits as highly targeted traffic are from organic posts. Reddit helps small business website to increase target traffic, reach, and brand awareness when small business website contribute in community with valuable information in articles or blog posts. Users could share a links with their website blog posts directly to target communities getting instant feedback, engagement and new potential customers.

  ### 26. Reddit Ads show some real value to attract the desired audience. Need to improve interests targeting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pritomjyoti P. | PPC Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit is the best for both individuals and organizations owing to its dedicated user base. There are subreddits for almost every niche, which helps in communicating with your peer audience much easy.

For a business perspective Reddit is one of the best open platforms to attract good quality users, prospects, leads and to generate brand awareness.

Only caution required here is that the ad copies (content and display) need to be designed and placed very carefully so that it does not annoy the community users. Once there is a good value proposition, the ads can be used positively for creating awareness and also attract better quality audience, thus leading to better conversion.

The communities targeting method is very effective and is one of my favorite feature in Reddit Ads.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

The interest targeting in Reddit Ads is however little behind when compared to other platforms. This can be improved in the future to enable a better reach and more precise targeting of audience.

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

Just need to little careful about value addition, so that the community does not feel the posted content as spam

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reddit has helped me to connect with a better quality audience and connect to the right people.

Some benefits of Reddit are:
Getting true feedback from peers and actual users
Get your questions answered without much delay
Connect with the right audience
True feedback, which has helped in improving both products/services and also ad copies

  ### 27. No:1 platform where you get lots of leads, traffic and know the social trends

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I also use to use this platform for my client and use content marketing knowledge in this platform and my client get good result from it.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

I dislike following things:
Down vote:It is one the most worst in Reddit because its reduce my karma :-(
sub Reddit Rule: I dislike sub Reddit Rule because it restricts my free activity in this social community site.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I join this social community site, then I am a novice in a lot of topics. But from the subreddit community, I get lots of help and support. by this way, I grab lots of knowledge which help me to grow my career.

  ### 28. High Value Audiences

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Reddit is a great place for your brand to differentiate itself from the status quo. The platform offers an abundance of niche communities that you can engage with and allows for better reach to a high-value target audience. It's definitely something we recommend to our customers as part of the advertising strategy.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

It can be hard to establish a baseline and you need to ensure that you are very on point with your content and campaign. Because the audiences are so valuable they can have just as big of an impact negatively if you are not thoughtful with your approach.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to quickly spread awareness to a high-value target audience about our services and products. It allows you to target communities based on interests. Consumers use Reddit to educate themselves on products/services before they buy. This allows us to reach them and engage on the platform they are using to learn more.

  ### 29. My Review of Reddit

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

Authenticity of the platform. People tell the truth. It is unique from other platforms because it is anonymous, so people are not afraid to say what they truly feel.

User interface is good.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

Community can be harsh/uninclusive to new members of subreddits. When you can be anonymous, this is a consequence - people can be as mean as they want and hide under that. Other social networks, what you say is tied to your public online identity.

Reddit advertising is not as robust as Facebook. Also, I think people go to Reddit for raw, true opinions. In other words, to get past the lies of ads and sponsored posts. So there is a conflict of interest for some companies to advertise on Reddit, where that authenticity is so important.

Mobile experience leaves a lot to be desired. If you click a reddit link on the iPhone, first it takes you to the web, for which you can't view unless you go to mobile app, but then it'll take you to the app store even though you already have it downloaded.

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

Read community guidelines. Be respectful of rules. Use it to find true, real insights on different matters. Use it for feedback. Don't get banned from communities. Figure out what is "not supposed to be said" and don't say it... people are pretty strict and up tight on a lot of subreddits to be honest.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Find most relevant audiences. Find true opinions. No B.S. I use it for research, insights on certain audiences, finding answers to specific questions, finding reviews on products without the risk of being tainted by affiliate marketing bias.

**Reviewed by:** Nikita B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

The best thing about Reddit is - it acts as a social community where experts can resolve the queries in the most specific way.
The upsides of Reddit:
Best posts are shown on the front page.
Subreddits are a great way to share opinion and voices regarding a particular topic.
You can get a lot of expert opinions on your query and go ahead with the best suggestion.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

As Reddit algorithm allows users to downvote or share negative feedback, so sometimes people just follow the trend without actually going through the article or content.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I have solved with Reddit is finding the right set of audience and connecting.
Reddit is the best platform to engage users. So, it has benefited a lot to grab new users from this channel.

  ### 31. Reddit Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul H. | Team Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Reddit for business?**

The best part about Reddit is the open nature of the community such that whatever topic or subject matter you might think of has some sort of dedicated subreddit wherein users can come together to discuss whatever it is with whoever else finds the subject of interest. In this way, Reddit is sort of like Wikipedia and Facebook combined since any user can start a thread and make comments.

**What do you dislike about Reddit for business?**

I'm not sure if this is the fault of Reddit in particular or just of a more general feature of using the internet at large, but the user does not really know who they are interacting with on the other end. Also, any given community can be better or worse depending on how the moderators function as well as the quality of the user's posts in that commnity.

**Recommendations to others considering Reddit for business:**

Give it a try, experiment for free, and don't be afraid to dive in and participate Reddit.

**What problems is Reddit for business solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reddit is a less thought of but nonetheless valuable resource when consulting a problem one might need another opinion or perhaps desires some sort of consensus among other people interested in the same thing or working on the same sort of problem. The real bonus is being able to post a question and field comments from other Redditors to hopefully solve or gain insight into whatever it is your inquiring about.
