Working as a software engineer, I enjoy Redpanda's general UI aspect. They have kept it nice and organized, and it is generally easy to get visibility into what is going on with topics, partitions, consumer groups, and overall streaming activity without it becoming overwhelming. You can get a real feel for what’s happening in your cluster, especially when you’re doing any kind of workload watching and/or debugging. And performance is yet another characteristic where Redpanda shines, handling high volumes of traffic and keeping a steady state of low-latency event stream for your application to use, a perfect option for your real-time applications and microservice event-driven architectures. The familiarity aspect for teams with existing Kafka workloads, all while decreasing the overall complexity, makes it so much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
