**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

MaxAssist has truly been a game changer for our team. It's designed by people who understand real-world needs, and it offers an invaluable dashboard for tracking KPIs, giving our team a sense of control, progress, and accomplishment. The support team is outstanding. The platform helps us communicate with our patients more effectively and efficiently, saving us a huge amount of time. As a data enthusiast, I love the information available, which helps us make solid, data-driven decisions. The setup was great, easily integrated with our PMS, and the support team was fantastic during training. I highly recommend MaxAssist.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

My main concern is that patients who are more than 24 months overdue are removed from the platform, which means we have to contact support to generate lists unless we want to go back to using our PMS.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MaxAssist is a game changer for us. It enhances patient communication, saves time, and organizes data to show where we're succeeding and where to focus. It offers an invaluable dashboard for tracking KPIs, helping us make data-driven decisions.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

I like using MaxAssist for handling recalls, SMS, and confirmations. The texting feature is particularly valuable because it allows us to get immediate responses from patients who do not respond via phone calls or emails. It saves us a lot of time and is a more updated method of contact, which most patients find very useful. Additionally, the surveys in MaxAssist are more user-friendly, which was a factor in transitioning from Clear Connect.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

The notes where messages are left are confusing during follow-ups. It's like we have to write a novel to understand the previous notes. Also, the clarity on dates for last calls and when follow-ups should be made versus the current messages could be improved. Plus, the initial setup wasn't great; we received many complaints from patients at first.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MaxAssist to manage recall backlogs and organize tasks. It lets us text patients for faster responses, solving the issue of unresponsive phone calls and emails.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

This software saves us a lot of time since we no longer have to call patients to confirm appointments. Our patients really appreciate the texting feature for reminders, as well as the chat option, which allows us to communicate even when they can't talk on the phone. I also find it very helpful that if our booking software goes down—whether from a power outage or other issues—we can still access the schedule on a cellphone to notify patients. The platform is very user-friendly. Customer support is excellent; any issues that come up are always resolved quickly. I also enjoy the new AI features that help with daily task lists. The profile bar adds a fun element by letting you try to unlock all the badges, making it a bit of a challenge to complete everything. Overall, it makes daily work tasks much easier.

No complaints on any of the features. Love this program!

I have not noticed any problems currently with MaxAssist!

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

I really like the appointment reminders and how the medical forms get sent directly to the patient, filled out, and then imported into the document center. This makes the administration's job more efficient and prevents staff from having to wait for the patient to fill out forms during their appointment. Everything is completed beforehand, allowing us to see the patient right away. Additionally, the initial setup of MaxAssist was very easy, and the customer service is top-notch and very prompt. We switched from using Adit to MaxAssist because it offered way more features.

I don't dislike anything, they are always fixing and improving to always make it easy.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MaxAssist helps with patient communication via text, sends appointment reminders, and manages unscheduled patients. It automates patient confirmations, easing daily admin tasks, and streamlines the process by importing filled medical forms, allowing us to see patients immediately.

The texting limit feels too restrictive. If it worked more like regular texting, where a message could be split into two if necessary, it would be much better.

Patient reminders save us time, as we no longer have to spend as much effort on that task. Sending out patient forms before visits is also helpful. Communicating with patients via text provides them with an additional way to reach us if they are unable to return a call immediately, and it allows us to receive responses much more quickly.

I like how MaxAssist shows which patient is a priority and highlights any missing information we need to ask the patient when they arrive. It helps me manage my time properly with AI assistance and decide who to contact first, which is useful for patients who might have missed, cancelled, or haven't booked for hygiene yet. I find it really helpful to ensure we gather needed details like email or another phone number, as we tend to forget sometimes. Also, the setup is fast and very user-friendly.

It just needs improvement to sync the contact made through abeldent for any dental hygiene patients that do not want to book right away.

This tool is a significant time saver and makes it much easier for staff to multitask. Whenever I have a question or run into an issue, the customer support team is outstanding. They respond quickly and resolve problems efficiently.

I am not pleased that the program cannot create an appointment directly in our scheduler. While it does reserve the time slot, the appointment still has to be entered manually. This means staff must review the information as they input it, which some users might actually consider a benefit.

The greatest benefit this program brings to our office is that it handles some of the simple, yet time-consuming tasks for us. The automated messaging feature is easy to customize, and patients truly appreciate receiving reminders on their phones or via email, which they can refer back to whenever needed.

Certain features of the platform are not customizable by the practice - which requires you to connect with the support. One big thing missing is the capacity of generate reports of usage.

I like MaxAssist for its ease of use and good workflow. The friendly support is a huge plus, and I really appreciate how we were able to utilize the tool and see benefits quickly immediately upon signing up. The platform helps with saving time and offers easy analytics tracking, which makes it even more beneficial. The initial setup was very simple, which made the transition smooth.

I don't like that integration of texting records and voicemail transcripts aren't automatically saved to patient chats, though we're trying the Mango partnership to see if this will address it.

I enjoy that they take in to consideration the people using the software. They are constantly staying ahead with technology and innovation and utilizing more tools that are out there than just confirming appts. (Like AI)

I do not have any current issues or dislikes with Recall Max. They are efficient, supportive, and reasonable for pricing. I have no current complaints!

They have improved the suite of tools for patient interactions and retention, that is a bonus, however cost increase is not of value when compared to integrated PMS.

The cost is high with respect to the built in program that providesthe same function (Tracker)

It is so easy to get information for and about patients and their families at a glance.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

Unable to text non-patient family members who you may need to confirm with. There is no telephone call option for seniors / other patients who do not want text. Only one phone number / email address per patient is allowed. For familes where parents are not together it would be nice to notify both of child appointments.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Takes the hours our of confirming appointments, tracks text conversations when we contact patients about upcoming appointments, coverage and various other questions they may have. 
Tracks the usage of the system by staff members, this is not as accurate as it could be. 
Provides feedback on pre-booking - it would be far superior if this metric was shown by provider. It would help management train providers who are pre-booking their own appointments and it would help train responsible front end where the gaps are. It would also reveal which dentists are most or least successful with case acceptance and allow us to train dentists/assistants to increase patient understanding of their dental situation.

I love how max assist integrates with Dentrix and allows us to look at a patient's entire file without having to open multiple windows.
Patients love being able to reach us any time and with the app this works perfect for last min changes.
Anytime I have issues the support team is amazing and really quick at resolving the issue.

I don't have anything I don't like about the program.  It works great.

Love how you can mass text patients on your cancelation list with the date and time and have a response in no time!  Also love how you can write a note and instantly have it sent to all of the family members office journal with one simple click.  Great recall and overdue treatment lists intergrated from our dental software.  After using a competitor for many years before the switch to Recall Max we can hands down recommend this program over others!  Thanks Recall Max!

The best part is the toolbar that sits on top of my screen.  I like being able to move between Recall Max and OpenDental without one disappearing. I do wish I could right click a patient in max and open them in OD.  The info on the toolbar is very helpful and quick to get.  Our five star reviews have increased with the RM system.  Customer support is excellent, integration was easy and I use max every day.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

I wish the forms were more user friendly.  I would like to tweak them  without having to have a cs do it.  Also, I wish info that is already entered in our system would show so the patient wasn't filling out fields we already have.

Task list is better than OD, missed pre-appointment list gets checked daily, the short notice list is great with the options of dates/times, etc.

Love being able to communicate with patients through the computer and having those conversations saved to refer back to. It makes booking appointments a lot easier and saves on time. The reminder system in place helps take the load off of me and patients also appreciate the reminders. Customer service is always fast to respond. I use this software everyday and it connects seamlessly to Maxident (our software in office).

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

I wish the character limit was longer. Seems silly to limit it and charge extra for more characters. Also wish there was a way to make the tool bar skinner/smaller on the screen.

**What do you like best about MaxAssist?**

As the Office Manager I like being able to track the calls made by each staff and where the focus is for each of them.  Gives me the opportunity to refocus them if needed.  I also like the text messaging system, as more and more patients text rather than call.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

We have had a few patients ask to only have specific reminders rather than all of them.  Right now the only one they can opt out of getting is the same day when appt is confirmed.  Other than that they either get them all or none at all.  It would be nice if the patient could pick if they want the two week, one week, 2 day or same day if we have it set up to send them.   I also would like a "rebooked" option in the miss/cancelled list, rather than just a remove from list.

Sending reminders for due/over due hyg.  Creates follow up lists for staff to easly track who they need to follow up with.  sending forms and uploading them right into our doc centre saves the admin time.

My favourite thing about RM is the follow up list. I love how I can attach specific tasks to certain patients and date them. I love that I get notified about them as soon as I log in. I have not missed a signal follow up with insurnace companies since using this tool and as such, have more satisfied patients.

**What do you dislike about MaxAssist?**

The only downside I have found so far in the approx 5 months of use, is I wish I could manually send patients appointment date and time info with the click of a button, or email/text reciepts directly to the patient. As we are no longer paying for the addon features with Maxident, I cannot send it through the software and would love to be able to use Recall Max to do it.

**What problems is MaxAssist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. treatment/predetermination follow ups: we are not missing any insurance claim/estimate follow ups and are therefore booking more patients
2. cancellations: it is so much faster and easier to follow up with cancelled appts to rebook
3. google reviews: because the surverys are sent out directly after the appt's are complete, we are seeing a significant increase in google reviews. Most of our patients find us on google so we have also seen an increase in New Patients.
