"Kick-ass dashboard, easy-to-use APIs and an amazing set of documentation"

5/5

What do you like best about Rebrandly?

- Their API allows for a 'key' based authentication which is amazing (as opposed to OAuth, which IMO is difficult to implement).

- They display the quota usage quite clearly over at their dashboard which is pretty handy

- They have an amazing suite of integrations which are available and a really thought-through set of APIs that allow you to do multiple activities, programatically

- Intuitive UI/UX when accessing their dashboard

- Thanks to UTM links, I was also able to capture to not just create dynamic links but also capture a good chunk of meta related info (ex: if the links were clicks via SMS or emails)

- They've got a pretty generous free plan for all the things that they offer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebrandly?

- 500 branded links seemed a little less when I started but given the capacity at which we currently ended up using it, didn't feel the pain as much - besides, as and when the count grew to an extent that would've crossed the base usage, I simply used their APIs to delete the older links that most certainly no one would anymore use.

- There isn't a bulk delete option on the dashboard which I get from a business POV but is still sad

Can't think of anything else at the moment :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Rebrandly:

- Decide on all the reasons why you'd want to have a URL shortener service (in my case, a good part of it was it helped with costs as it reduced the # of characters in my SMS) and then what you need (for instance, it wasn't that huge a deal for me to know geo-based analytics) and to what extend you need it (quotas and pricing)

- if agent audit logs are a must-have, think again before going with Rebrandly (I don't know how they currently do this but I can't find it on their dashboard) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've used it mainly as part of our hiring processes where candidates receive an SMS with a link to block some time for their interviews; typically, these links are huge and besides looking ugly as hell, they also take up SMS space (that in-turn costs more) and that's where I was able to make the best use of Rebrandly.
