It also suggests rules for you as it learns over time which is super cool. We have gained significant visibility into our spend which we then load into Power BI and layer it into our overall reporting dataset. Ramp has a lot of solid features for collaboration on specific transactions and great spend control capabilities. They also seem to iterate quickly on product build and take feedback very seriously. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** There are not a lot of downsides to Ramp that we have seen so far, and gaps are typically addressed quickly. Sometimes the integrations for Outlook and such feel hit or miss, but it is getting better. The homepage can be sometimes hard to navigate and I wish there was a better log of all interactions in the tool so you had a one stop shop to avoid forgetting things from a few days ago. **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were coding individual transactions and now we are only coding things that there are not rules built around and reviewing the automated results of the rules. We love that the approval process doesn't hold up the ability to sync expenses. We also love the control over what gets synced, and when it gets synced. Also, overall, I'd say the customer support we've received from Ramp has been great. It has been less consistent as of late, but when we first started with Ramp (about a year and a half ago), it was consistent and awesome! **What do you dislike about Ramp?** Regarding Bill pay: One of the features of the sync to QBO involves a deletion of the payment record weeks or months later in the event that the check payment is never deposited by the vendor. This throws off our monthly accounting reconciliations to have a payment on the books and then later on have that payment record automatically deleted. Not sure what the solution is! **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ramp saves our team a ton of time by making it very, very simple document credit card expense info. Also, making bill-pay and approvals completely remote through Ramp has saved our team from having to drive into the office or wait until an approver is back from work-related travel. We use it to ingest and store receipts, accounting, payments and credit cards. Implementation was very easy. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** The only downside is that Ramp is not automatically linked into one of our banks, which means we need to upload statements each month if we want to use that account for payments. However, Ramp is linked into our main operating account. We gave them no training - yet, from the moment it was rolled out for employees use, they have used it like crazy. If a support agent isn't able to provide a solution, you can bet they'll follow up. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** In Bill Pay a payment made outside of Ramp doesn't integrate to the ERP accounting system our clients use and that creates double work. **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking expense documentation is easy although developing employee (and management habits) for recording receipts and invoices is difficult. It was easy to get everyone in, even our accountants - Customer service is always so helpful, even when there aren't features that are offerred currently, they'll provide work arounds or let you know when that feature is offered. -I'm able to choose the accounting date when syncing to our accounting software. This is a big one, especially for accrual accounting. It saves so much time. -Our billing/receipt/all accounting flows just so much easier because it's so much easier to get the context of what the charge was, and if I don't know, the comments or reminders in ramp allow me to follow up with the team. **What do you dislike about Ramp?** There are only two things I wish I could change about Ramp: -I wish you could set the time zone and time for cards with daily limits to reset. Currently it's in UTC which can be tricky when we use it for team onsites since it doesn't coincide with when we're using the cards. -I wish you could designate someone on the team as a "travel planner" to automatically be able to book travel and manage trips for everyone. Currently, a user can log in and designate someone individually to do this, but it would be helpful to take away this step (especially for C-level users who usually don't have the time to log in and do this). **What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to control spending so much more as well as automate a lot of our otherwise very timely accounting processes. In a small start up like ours, it's so important to have a software like Ramp that allows us to have that control and minimize the amount of time we're spending on the processes. ### 41.
