What do you like best about Ramp?

What I like best about Ramp is the combination of powerful spend management capabilities with an exceptionally good user experience. The UI/UX is honestly one of the best I’ve seen in a finance platform. It’s intuitive, clean, and makes everyday tasks like managing cards, adjusting limits, reviewing expenses, and tracking spend across multiple entities much easier.

The AI capabilities are also excellent and genuinely useful in day-to-day work, helping make processes faster and reducing manual effort.

Another major strength is how quickly Ramp evolves. New features and improvements are released frequently, including enhancements for multi-entity management. I also really appreciate how responsive Ramp is to customer feedback, both through Customer Support and the Ramp Community. What do you dislike about Ramp?

There are still a few bugs and limitations when working with our Israeli entity, which occasionally require manual workarounds.

The main area I would like to see improved is the budgeting functionality. Currently, it doesn’t fully support accrual-based budgeting or the proper treatment of prepaid expenses. For Finance teams managing budgets on an accrual basis, this can create a mismatch between Ramp’s budget reporting and the way expenses are actually recognized in the accounting system.

Better support for accruals and prepaid expense allocation would make the budgeting feature significantly more useful for financial planning and budget vs. actual analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ramp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ramp has helped us centralize and automate many of our spend management workflows, including corporate cards, expense tracking, receipt collection, approvals, reimbursements, and spend controls.

For the Finance team, the biggest advantage is improved visibility and control. We can adjust card limits and spending policies in real time, quickly spot missing documentation, and cut down on the manual follow-up that would otherwise be needed.

It also delivers a smoother experience for employees while still giving Finance the controls we require. The automation and AI capabilities reduce manual effort even further and allow us to focus on exceptions instead of reviewing every transaction one by one.
