It's also cost-effective, which I appreciate. **What do you dislike about QuoteWerks?** The biggest challenge is that only a single person can access a quote at a given time, which constantly means we're running into sharing errors and having to message people to log out or close out their access to a quote. The other thing is there's not a lot of flexibility with cutting and pasting, finding, and replacing in certain fields as you're building a quote, which makes it much less efficient than it should be for doing things like large renewal proposals. **What problems is QuoteWerks solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find QuoteWerks effective for managing quotes from multiple technology partners, standardizing them for customers, and integrating with QuickBooks and our revenue ops tool chain. **Official Response from Brian Laufer:** > Thank you for the thoughtful review. It really has some limitations though. **What do you dislike about QuoteWerks?** I have been using the web version, and it works so different than the local version. Quoteworks is slow and buggy. My quotes look completly different in the web vs local version even though its literally the same quote. The software is incredibly buggy and will freeze or crash. **What problems is QuoteWerks solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need a quoting platform for our business. For customers using QuoteWerks in a hybrid Web and Desktop environment, performance and behavior can depend on several factors, including whether your QuoteWerks database is hosted in your own SQL environment or in the QuoteWerks cloud. Release version is also very important. In a standalone QuoteWerks Web environment, QuoteWerks Web is automatically updated. In a hybrid environment, the QuoteWerks Desktop installation determines the release of QuoteWerks Web available to your organization, so keeping QuoteWerks Desktop current is important. We have made significant updates to QuoteWerks Web in recent releases, including improvements to functionality, performance, and overall look and feel. If your Desktop installation has not been updated recently, you may not be seeing the latest QuoteWerks Web improvements. Regarding quote layouts, QuoteWerks Web and Desktop can use the same shared layouts so quotes can look consistent between both environments. In some cases, differences may be related to which layout/template is being used or how the layout has been configured by your administrator. I like that it keeps my vendor pricing in one place every time my team or I prepare a quote. Since we can copy older quotes and adjust them, it basically becomes our brand template, so it cuts time for both us and the customer to pay for the product we sell, since we are working with networks, we sell many VOIP phones, and we have our most sold models, so with QuoteWerks it's came to a point that even my kids knew how to do a quote. **What do you dislike about QuoteWerks?** Interface feels really old compared to some other apps. Every item we sell already has descriptions, part numbers, and costs loaded, so I'm not rewriting the same details over and over. Bundles they have is another plus, I build a full project quote by selecting one package instead of adding each piece individually. Also we integrate it with crm, which makes us not forget to follow up with customer after the package is delivered. **What do you dislike about QuoteWerks?** Oh, the initial setup really took some time, especially due to the ammount of products and services we have.
