"Easy Dev-to-Runtime Workflow and a Free Community Edition"

What do you like best about QuickHMI?

I first came across QuickHMI at work and have also been using it at home for many years, thanks to the free Community Edition. I use it to control my roller shutters, heat pump, air conditioning and lights. What I really like is how easy it is to switch from development mode to runtime and see the result straight away. The AI assistance for creating SVG elements is also useful. Another plus is that QuickHMI can run on a Raspberry Pi or in Docker. I really appreciate having a free Community Edition for home automation, and I’ve been very happy with QuickHMI over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickHMI?

Support for the free Community Edition is through the forum, which is fine with me. Some questions are even answered by the developers themselves. Finding the forum is a bit awkward, though, and you have to log in to your account on the QuickHMI website before you can post there. It would be nice if getting to the forum and asking a question were a little more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QuickHMI solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use QuickHMI to control my roller shutters, heat pump, air conditioning and lights in one place. Being able to switch straight from development to runtime makes it easy to try out changes and see whether they work as intended.
