Unfortunately, three large payments were later reversed after we had already delivered the product, resulting in over $30,000 in losses. These transactions were initially marked as cleared by QuickBooks, and we were given no ability to dispute or intervene in the reversal process. The loss included $24,747 in unrecoverable physical product that was shipped and later seen resold out of state, which has been reported to the FBI. Despite our efforts to escalate the issue and request assistance, QuickBooks cited their Terms of Service and declined to offer any reimbursement or solution. This experience has been extremely damaging to our small business. We strongly urge other merchants using QuickBooks to understand that ACH payments processed through this platform are not protected, and can be pulled back months later — even after funds are transferred and fulfillment has occurred. We’ve since switched to a different processor with stronger fraud tools, delayed fulfillment protocols, and merchant dispute rights. We hope our experience helps other small businesses make more informed decisions. ### 25. There a multitude of reports that I use for various reason and find them exceptional compared to other software. Payroll is another stand out for me as everything can be done in the payroll screen without having to go elsewhere including reporting. Custom support is also good and you do get to speak to a human in real time and get your issue fixed immediately without having to wait hours for an answer. I have found the new interface is really good now as well and it is also easily customised to suit what the user wants to see. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?** The new bank feed is very challenging and so far am not a fan of it. I would not recommend migrating from another software platform to QBO as I have never had a pleasant experience with this. I would always use opening balances to start a new file from an old. **What problems is QuickBooks Online solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to quickly work in bulk (batch allocation) and I love the rules to be able to do this. Work is done faster. I find it is user friendly and with the right training anyone can use it. ### 38. Payroll direct deposit, makes W-2's for me, categorizing expenses and income, keeps tracks of donations from donors, the list is endless. Without QBO, I don't know what I would do as the one who does books for a small non-profit. QBO makes it all so easy to use and easy to get things done. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?** I think it would be more helpful if each user could personalize their dashboard more fully. They offer some personalization, but as a small non-profit, we do not utilize all that Quickbooks offers, so it would be nice to hide all the unnecessary things I do not use. Also, I wish there were a cheaper payment option for companies with 2-10 employees as it seems a bit pricey to me. **What problems is QuickBooks Online solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before using QBO, we were having to pay for a professional to do our books, which was hurting us financially as a small non-profit. Now, I can do the books with the help of QBO at a cheaper cost. Also, QBO makes organizing all our gifts/donations into one effective and simple place. ### 39.
