"Great QR code maker that doesn’t lock you in"

What do you like best about QR Code Maker?

The biggest differentiator is that it doesn't lock you in. With a lot of tracked QR code tools, you end up paying indefinitely just to keep previously printed codes working. With qr-code-maker.app I'm not held hostage by the platform - codes remain usable and I'm not worried about old materials breaking if I change plans or even downgrade to free. The product is also simple to use, fast, and produces QR codes that scan reliably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QR Code Maker?

Nothing major so far. A few advanced options could be a bit easier to discover like bulk upload, and I'd like more in-app guidance on best practices (print sizing recommendations). But overall it's been smooth and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QR Code Maker solving and how is that benefiting you?

It addresses a real operational risk with QR tracking platforms: long-term dependency and unexpected costs. When QR codes appear on flyers, packaging, signage, or other printed materials, you need confidence they’ll continue to work over time. This helps reduce the risk of broken links and costly reprints, and it also lets us roll out QR codes quickly without worrying that we’ll be locked into ongoing fees just to keep existing codes active.
