## Qlik Sense Reviews
  ### 1. Intuitive Data Exploration and Dashboards with Qlik Sense’s Associative Model

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suman K. | Senior Data Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

The Qlik Sense associative data model is something that I enjoy because it makes the process of exploring data very intuitive, you are able to easily pull data from different sources and discover associations between them with little to no coding, as well as interact with the dashboards to communicate to business users.

**What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?**

The initial learning curve is a little bit challenging particularly for the new BI users. Furthermore, customizability and extensive scripting often needs deeper technical knowledge as compared to other similar tools.

**What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my day job, I handle huge amounts of data from various sources. This is what Qlik Sense excels at. Ingesting and merging all this data, analyzing it all. It definitely helps with decision making because all the relevant info is available in real time and it dramatically reduces time spent on manual analysis.

  ### 2. Visually Stunning, Excel-Like Ease on Web

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adnan J. | BI Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

I use Qlik Sense for making reports that I can show in presentations. I find it very good visually and easy to follow. It's easy to use, kind of like Excel but on the web. I love how strong the pivots are and how I can use the AI features to help me label my reports. Basically, I can type a prompt, and it will do it for me. Qlik Sense worked better for us in terms of cost and integration with our system.

**What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?**

The data I provide has to be detailed. It would be helpful if Qlik Sense could have basic features to understand what the data is showing, similar to how Claude can read data and provide suggestions.

**What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Qlik Sense because it's visually appealing and easy to follow. It's like Excel on the web, with strong pivots and AI features that help me label reports. I can type a prompt, and it does the work for me.

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

I find the new Qlik Ans feature amazing because it gives accurate answers using our data. When I upload data and ask it to analyze or to create some visuals, it provides valid and readable visuals. If I ask for this month's revenue or growth, it gives proper answers. I also appreciate the Qlik community, as they help solve issues as soon as possible, providing great service. The desktop version setup is very quick.

**What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?**

I often encounter a session timeout error, especially since I'm using only one server with one user. There's also limited Excel export formatting, which feels restrictive.

**What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Qlik Sense for data modeling and visualization. It gives me valid and readable visuals and accurate analysis using the new Qlik Ans feature. Also, the Qlik community provides support for issues like session timeouts.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terrance M. | Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

I find Qlik Sense's usability incredibly helpful. The data export function is also very useful because it allows me to right-click any dashboard and export it as an Excel document. This feature lets me take the data and manipulate it in my own way outside of the initial visualization.

**What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?**

Sometimes there are loading issues, especially when business intelligence is running updates. It can be an issue, usually on Mondays, from morning into late afternoon, when all my data is pulling in at once. I feel like at times additional resources could be allocated.

**What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Qlik Sense to compile data in new ways and simplify data visualization. It helps distribute information to non-expert users easily and allows designing varied dashboards. It's user-friendly, so the average person can use it easily.

  ### 7. Powerful Interactive Analytics, but Advanced Features Have a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

It provides a highly interactive, intuitive, and associative data analytics experience, allowing users to explore vast datasets, uncover hidden insights, and create customized visual reports with minimal training. Its core strength is the ability to instantly update visualizations based on user selections, which supports self-service BI across both desktop and mobile devices.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav S. | Associate Vice President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

The best part of Qliksense is its ability to handle ETL while also serving as a strong dashboarding tool. I like that it can manage both tasks in one place, which makes it easier to work with data and then present it clearly.

**What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?**

It’s a bit less user-friendly compared to Tableau and Power BI.

**What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s very helpful for ETL and visualization, and it can handle large amounts of data without impacting dashboard performance—something I haven’t found in other BI tools.

  ### 9. Excellent Data Integration and Intuitive Dashboard Analysis

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Qlik Sense?**

This platform offers a solid development environment, providing robust controls that clearly separate development spaces from published dashboards. Its data integration capabilities are impressive, with numerous connections available for a wide range of data sources and systems. I also find it effective for exploring data and analyzing trends and performance, as the dashboards are easy to drill down into and filter.

**What do you dislike about Qlik Sense?**

The learning curve is a bit steeper, and the interface is less intuitive for standard users, which means it can take longer to develop dashboards compared to Tableau or Power BI. Additionally, there are fewer custom visuals available than what Tableau offers. The cost is also relatively high when compared to Power BI.

**What problems is Qlik Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform enables the integration of data from various sources, offering centralised dashboards and reporting capabilities that support a broad spectrum of business needs, including Financial, Commercial, and Operational functions.
