**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

What I like most about PVcase Ground Mount is its ease for electrical design and equipment coding, it saves us a lot of time. Before, we used to draw all the plans directly on AutoCAD, and now thanks to PVcase tools, that work is more automatic, reducing human errors and saving a lot of time. The same goes for the coding of wiring and equipment. I also found the initial setup easy. We switched from AutoCAD to PVcase precisely because it represents a significant time saving for us.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

It would help us a lot if in each section of the trench a text was displayed with the number of cables running through that section.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PVcase Ground Mount for the layout of structures and trackers on the ground, their positioning, and the electrical design of the entire plant, as well as its coding. We used to draw everything in AutoCAD; now that work is more automated, reducing human errors and saving us a lot of time.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

I really like the PVcase Ground Mount for its very intuitive interface. It's very easy to handle and to input the project specifics, which is a big plus for me. The initial setup was also very easy, with good support from the PVcase team, making the transition smooth.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The software is quite expensive, which makes it difficult to afford for small to medium-sized companies like ours. It would be great to have a lighter version specifically for developers, focusing on module layout preparation and permitting, without the additional tools intended for EPC companies that we don't use often.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PVcase Ground Mount allows quick iteration of the module layout considering topography and shadows. It has a very intuitive interface, making it easy to handle project specifics. However, it's expensive for small to medium companies, and a lighter version for developers focusing on module layout would be beneficial.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

I’m using PVcase Ground Mount for designing photovoltaic systems with or without batteries, and it makes the work with AutoCAD much more fluent. The topography and shading calculation features are standouts for me, as they make all the calculations much more precise. It's great because it allows you to show customers the whole 3D view, making them much happier compared to just a 2D view. The cross-section is awesome because you can clearly see how high your panels are from the ground. The initial setup was super easy, and when we had a problem, we got a swift response from support.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The only thing that our team misses is DC boxes for the cable length calculations.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PVcase Ground Mount makes working with AutoCAD much more fluent, efficiently streamlines initial design creation, and eases project revisions. Topography, shading calculation, and cross-section features ensure precise calculations and enhanced client presentations with 3D views.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

This tool has helped me save time while improving precision and accuracy. I also appreciate the integrations with AutoCAD and PV Syst, which make my workflow smoother. Overall, the automation and speed are strong, and the 3D analysis and shading features are especially useful.

I don’t have any dislikes about the program.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PVcase for designing large-scale PV systems.

Integration with AutoCAD: Working directly in a CAD environment makes the whole process much easier. PVcase isn’t a separate, complex software program; it’s an add-on that integrates smoothly with standard AutoCAD, which helps reduce implementation time.

Integration with PV SYST: Exporting a project to the external PV SYST program allows for a quick and accurate determination of the PV system’s energy production.

Automation and speed: Creating a panel layout on difficult terrain—while accounting for shading and required distances—now takes only a fraction of the time I used to spend doing it manually. After entering the data, the program automatically places inverters, stations, and cable lines, which is a strong contribution to developing the installation’s detailed design. Even frequent design-parameter changes introduced by investors don’t cause project downtime: once the data is updated, the program immediately generates a new layout without needing to rebuild everything from scratch, as was often the case with “manual” design without PVcase.

3D analysis and shading: PVcase stands out in terrain modeling, enabling highly precise shading analysis and better optimization of energy yield.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The interface as an AutoCAD plugin makes navigating the many different tools included with PVCase ground mount seem familiar and easy to learn. Using the software to layout PV trackers is fast, and the iteration tool allows you to contemplate many designs at a time. 

The ability to export the shade scene from PVCase ground mount to a .pvc for PVsyst is crucial for our team and saves us several hours anytime an energy model is created.

There are numerous articles on the support page that explain the functionality of the various tools very well, with the use of GIF's and images that I find extremely helpful. If there is anything I need support with that isn't covered in one of these, the team is fast to respond, usually within the day.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The electrical design tools are quite a bit more manual intensive than the general layout tools. Getting early takeoff quantities quickly can be a challenge.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PVcase ground mount is our primary layout software, and it helps us understand project capacity from the earliest design stages all the way through construction.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

I am using PVcase Ground Mount for several ground mount PV Plant projects across Romania, and it really shines as a great tool for terrain-related problems. I like the automatic terrain modeling feature and its ability to read ground levels, even from numbers, which helps a lot with challenging terrains by saving a lot of time in the allocation of PV tables. The initial setup of PVcase Ground Mount was also easy for me.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

I think it should upgrade single line diagram modeling. Specific improvements I'd like to see are in cable sizing, SLD drawings, MV cubicle drawings, CB selection, and CT selection.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For terrain-related problems, PVcase Ground Mount is great. Automatic terrain modeling saves time for PV table allocation on challenging terrains and reading ground levels, even from numbers.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The tool is easy to use, reducing the time needed to create detailed designs. The software is fantastic from the Development project to construction project The frame creation is accurate and the park setting offers many variables to optimize the PV layout. The shading study is rapid. The electrical part is very intuitive and fluent.  PVCase offers slope, pilling, collision, and grading analysis to enhance calculation precision significantly. Weekly updates and excellent customer service and technical support. The integration with PVsyst is fundamental. Integration into Autocad, which allows you to have all Autocad commands and functions always available

There are no significant things to dislike about tool

The tool solves the issue of terrain import and reduces the time to create the layout.

I really like the fast layout automation directly inside AutoCAD. It significantly reduces design time and accurately adapts the PV structures to complex terrain topography

I am highly satisfied with PVcase Ground Mount, as it has significantly streamlined our solar engineering workflow. There are genuinely no major downsides to mention; however, like any advanced, enterprise-grade software, it does require an initial time investment to fully master its extensive features. Once the team completes the initial training, the efficiency gains and precision in terrain analysis far outweigh the learning curve.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

I really like that PVcase Ground Mount is integrated with AutoCAD and find it very intuitive. The simplicity of making variant solutions and the shorter time to solutions are big positives for me. It significantly shortens the most time-consuming part, which is making the disposition of the PV panels in the PV field.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The main issue is the licensing, especially the unavailability of some kind of server license. Perhaps some specific different types of licenses would be better, but this is very individual and something to discuss with an account manager.

PVcase Ground Mount significantly reduces the time-consuming process of arranging PV panels. It's integrated with AutoCAD, very intuitive, and simplifies creating variant solutions, leading to quicker solutions.

**What do you like best about PVcase Ground Mount?**

I appreciate the representation of shading and the path planning with curve radii in PVcase Ground Mount. The electrical planning from the string to the grid connection point makes it easy for me to create detailed plans. I particularly like that the representation is very clear and can be used well in board meetings and with authorities. Also, the ability to optimally utilize areas and quickly compare multiple variants is a great advantage. The layout is significantly faster than with our previous product, Helios 3D.

**What do you dislike about PVcase Ground Mount?**

The cable sizing does not yet correctly take into account the grouping factors and unfortunately is not yet VDE compliant.

**What problems is PVcase Ground Mount solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PVcase Ground Mount helps us maintain shading distances in challenging terrain and manage height restrictions. It also enables optimal land use and quick variant comparison.
