## About PushPress
PushPress is the premier AI-powered fitness business management software designed specifically for gyms, studios, martial arts acadamies, and personal trainers. Founded by gym owners, PushPress has grown to support thousands of gyms worldwide — combining deep domain knowledge with modern, scalable SaaS architecture. It is built to help fitness businesses automate operations, grow membership, and deliver a standout member experience. Core is the foundational gym management engine that enables you to run every operational aspect of your fitness business from one platform — handling membership billing, class scheduling, coach commissions, digital waivers, lead tracking, and revenue reporting all in one centralized system. With powerful features like automated recurring billing, staff compensation calculations, product/inventory sales (including pre-orders), and real-time financial dashboards, Core simplifies the complex administrative burdens gym owners face. Because all your key workflows live in Core, it eliminates fragmented tools and data silos, freeing your team to spend less time in spreadsheets and systems, and more time coaching, growing community, and scaling your gym. Train is PushPress’ integrated workout tracking and member engagement platform, giving gyms a powerful way to keep clients motivated, accountable, and connected. Members can easily log workouts, track progress over time, and celebrate streaks and milestones, while coaches can enrich programming with benchmarks, video uploads, and custom divisions. Because Train is fully synced with PushPress Core, gyms benefit from seamless member management, billing integration, and centralized analytics. With flexible pricing, no setup fees, and a free trial, Train helps gyms transform passive memberships into active engagement — driving retention, results, and long-term community growth. Grow is PushPress’ all-in-one marketing and lead conversion engine built for fitness businesses, turning websites and digital presence into high-performing acquisition and retention tools. With SEO-optimized websites designed to rank for local searches like “gyms near me,” Grow captures leads at the front end while automating personalized follow-ups through email, SMS, WhatsApp, and social channels to maximize conversions. Once leads become members, Grow syncs with Core to power retention campaigns, exclusive offers, and consistent communication, while GymHappy automates reviews and testimonials to boost online reputation and local visibility. Backed by robust analytics that track funnel performance, ROI, and conversion data, Grow gives gym owners a clear, data-driven path to scaling their community and revenue — transforming marketing from a manual task into a powerful growth system. The Branded Member App gives your gym a polished, fully branded mobile presence — placing your logo, color palette, and style directly into your members’ hands via the App Store and Google Play. Members can reserve classes, view schedules, engage socially, track workouts (when Train is enabled), and manage their account — all through your custom app interface. Behind the scenes, PushPress handles app updates and maintenance, while you benefit from deeper brand recognition and a premium member experience that helps retention. As a fully integrated extension of Core, it reinforces your identity, strengthens member connection, and sets your gym apart as a modern, tech-forward business.

## PushPress Reviews
 ### 1. Highly recommend Push Press CORE (it's really great!) but do not recommend Push Press GROW.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoni L. | Owner & Head Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

Push Press CORE is great. I would highly recommend it. They keep improving it, customer support is fast & capable, and it's generally easy to learn. It's the only software that I have that has noticeably improved in a dramatic fashion over time. I would give CORE a 9/10. The AI agents they are working on sound amazing and will create a lot of value. I only see this software getting better and more useful. Within a year all of the things an admin assistant does for you will be easy for you to do yourself.

There are some new features for GROW I haven't tried yet and for some people they might be really valuable (e.g. Chat GPT or equivalent powered chat bot, voice AI assistant to answer the phone, etc.) but right now I would give GROW a 5/10 at best. I feel like they are focused on all these fancy things when it fails to do the basics well.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Push Press GROW has been a net negative for my business.

The default workflows are poorly designed and have caused me repeated headaches and damaged my brand. I have lost sales because I trusted their default workflows. You can't trust their "out of the box" workflows.

Since the default workflows aren't very good you are better off making your own workflows from scratch and saving yourself some money.

The email marketing widget is weak. They don't even use it themselves for their email marketing. For example you can't embed more than one link into an email using the email marketing widget in GROW.

Lastly, while it's getting better CORE & GROW are not integrated particularly well.

In CORE my gross revenue figure shouldn't include sales tax collected. If you're in a jurisdiction that includes a sales tax their financial reports aren't as helpful since you need to go digging to find the "real" numbers.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated billing, mobile app for clients to book themselves in, shared calendar/scheduling, they are working on some really cool/helpful AI features for CORE.

 ### 2. PushPress Saves Lives (and My Sanity)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CrossFit B. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

At first, I loved the product. It's super easy to use and is very user friendly. We came from Zen Planner, which is just terrible. But the longer I use PushPress, the more I love the people who work there. Their patience, their willingness to hop on call after call, and their genuine care made the change not only bearable, but honestly one of the best decisions we’ve made. Shout out to TJ, Dave, Greg, Rudy, Nate and Matt (who makes me laugh on the regular). And this list makes me wonder, where are the ladies at?

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Oh that intercom can be tricky! Sometimes we have issues in the evening or weekend so we have to wait for staff. You have to type out your issue and hope it makes sense (sometimes there’s a back and forth to explain the answer). And sometimes you ask your question and have to wait several hours and then a PP person responds but then you’re busy. Sometimes the response is I’ll work on that for you and get back to you - what does that mean? When?
There’s no titles or tracking in the intercom so if you want to revisit a question you’ve asked about, it’s impossible to find. It would be great if could put a subject line on the intercom.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thank God for Grow - it sends ALL the automated texts and emails and saves me so much time!

 ### 3. User-Friendly Gym Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sun Fitness & T. | Registered Massage Therapist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I like the easy payments from the members, which makes managing finances simpler. I also find PushPress to be an excellent management tool for my gym. It makes everything more user-friendly and provides ease of use. The initial setup was pretty easy, even though it was about five or six years ago.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I'm having technical difficulties with sending my member's email or payment link through PushPress, and it took a while for Jason and his team to get back to me, though they did resolve it eventually. I think the credit card interest rate can always improve. I wish there were more options than just using Stripe, like other merchants that could be helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering PushPress:**

Ask all the questions you need from other gym software companies.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPress helps with customer relation benefit management, provides easy payments from members, and acts as a management tool for my gym. It makes everything more user-friendly and easy to use.

**Official Response from Melissa Chuang:**

> I'm so glad you're enjoying PushPress! We love hearing from happy customers like you. Thank you for taking the time to review our product and share your thoughts with us. It's always helpful to hear that we're on the right track :)

We take pride in creating a software that is as simple as possible, while still offering all of the features and functionality you need. I know it can be frustrating when there are too many options and not enough simplicity--we've been there too! That's why we created this app with just one goal: to help fitness professionals succeed by doing less work.

If there is anything else we can do for your business or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to

 ### 4. Affordable with Potential, Service Needs Boost

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Malcolm C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I really like the potential of what PushPress can do for my gym.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I was hoping for a little bit better customer service. I feel like it's there, but it's just slow. We kinda were onboarded a little bit because we were in a hurry to transfer over. It was kind of a rush to get us in and switch platforms, and now I kinda feel like I don't really know how to use the system as well as I could. On Grow, I know nothing about it or am not handy with that type of lead nurturing. I definitely need to learn. It wasn't as fast as we thought it was gonna be.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 5. Effortlessly Manages Member Profiles and Reduces Admin Hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Horsemen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu .

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I really like PushPress because it has significantly reduced the amount of hours I spend doing administrative work. It collects everything in one place, such as payments, member profiles, waivers, and belt ranks, making it easy to use. Their support team is always there to help, and if they don't know the answer, they find it out and help me understand completely. Even their AI is very helpful, often answering my questions right away. The initial setup was very easy, as it just asked for information I was familiar with, and it was easy to send out invites to all the members. Most everybody understood it right away.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I find the ranking system a bit limiting. It would be cool if it could be curated to better fit how we rank. Also, I'd like to upload documents and information for our members in the PushPress app that they can just read, like adult stripe test requirements, that way it is at their finger tips.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPress cuts down administrative work significantly, saving hours each week. It simplifies managing member profiles and payments, and allows members to handle their information. It's easy to use and combines everything—payments, waivers, profiles—in one place. I like that I don't have mountains of papers to look through or make my own data spreadsheets anymore.

 ### 6. Seamless Membership Management with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katelyn R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I love the seamless class sign-up and information update process for athletes without any hassle. The customer service is much better than our previous company, and it's also cheaper. I find the customer service and ease of product use to be the best. Troubleshooting issues in real-time with support is amazing. PushPress is much easier to use compared to our last system, and the chatbot often helps when I can't find something. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the setup wizard and our onboarding call, which went smoothly.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I would like for our athletes to be able to set up recurring class reservations. I know staff can do that, but letting athletes have the option would be great.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PushPress for membership management and class reservations. Athletes can sign up for classes and update information easily. The customer service is better and real-time support is amazing. It's cheaper and easier to use than our previous system.

 ### 7. Excellent Software Packed with Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tailormade F. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

Excellent software with many features that impact all areas of the business positively.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

You aren't really guided on how to utilise everything particularly well though the team is responsive and do answer questions reasonable quickly.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automations for new leads, helping us to convert them quickly.
It helps to solve issues with client engagement through things like the Committed Club
Overall it is just a nice tidy system that keeps our membership base organised well.

 ### 8. Detailed, Ever-Improving System That Keeps Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ender K. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

good system so much details and improving every time and getting better always

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I wish to enter 3 gyms sink each other and easy to transaction like grow system

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mostly I get challenge with grow and workflows but the team always helpful and the support just to be aware guys we living in Europe time zone deference perhaps you need team members working different time zones and that would be beneficial sometimes we get stuck with help.

 ### 9. Good Scheduling App with Room for Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I like the PushPress app as it helps our clients, and the customer support seems good. The initial setup was relatively easy.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I find the staff app lacking because it could be better. We should be able to set sessions on the staff app. Also, the communication between calendars isn't great. Having the calendars link up better and show who is in the session on Google Calendar would be massively helpful.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PushPress for scheduling through an app. The app helps our clients with scheduling, and the customer support seems good.

 ### 10. Simple Platform That Truly Cares About Clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

It's a simple platform that continues to improve and cares about their clients.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

There are some little bugs that make it a little more complicated to access to data.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPress helps me manage my member's and prospects accounts. It tracks notes, belts, contact, billing, and attendance.
