"Exceptional Participant Quality and Precise Prescreening for Educational Research"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Prolific?

As an academic scholar examining secondary science teachers’ attitudes toward AI, what I value most about Prolific is the consistently high quality of its participants and the accuracy of its prescreening for education-focused research. The validity of my data depends on reaching the right demographic—in my case, secondary school science teachers—rather than relying on generic crowdsourced workers. That targeted access is what makes Prolific stand out and feel indispensable for my study. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Prolific?

As an M.Ed. scholar, being able to manage my workload, academic budget, and research timeline while still staying productive is fantastic. That said, I’ve run into a few limitations and challenges that can be frustrating. First, the overall cost is quite high. As a student, keeping up with those expenses can be really difficult, and it affects how practical and effective the process can be. Second, sample availability can be an issue. Third, there are participant-related challenges, such as drop-offs and difficulties with completing tasks on time. So yes, there are clear limitations, and I do think certain constraints are still there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
