What do you like best about Product Hunt?

My favorite thing about using Product Hunt for launches is that you get some traffic and even some sales in the initial marketing push. The tool is free to use and is very common to use in the startup space. I use Product Hunt for every launch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Product Hunt?

One of the things I dislike about Product Hunt is the fact that many people game it. I constantly receive direct messages on social media asking me to upvote people's Product Hunt listing. The best marketer wins rather than the best product wins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Product Hunt solving and how is that benefiting you?

Product Hunt solves the problem of visibility. A new startup often doesn't have an audience so with Product Hunt you often get seen by getting those upvotes by people who may check out or buy your product. We've even been added to email newsletters as a featured product which gave more visibility. Overall, it's a great tool for getting early eyeballs on your startup.
