Cash Receipts and Bank Reconciliation
Recording receipts against invoices is straightforward, and I can apply payments either partially or in full across multiple matters. The bank reconciliation tools are solid as well: I regularly import bank statements, match them to ledger entries, and work through any exceptions. Overall, this helps tighten cash control and cuts down the time I spend on reconciliations. I also run ageing reports to monitor overdue balances and identify collection priorities. These reports can be exported to Excel for further analysis or shared with the team for client discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited Reporting Flexibility:
Proclaim offers standard reports, but customisation is pretty limited:
Creating bespoke financial reports often requires exporting to Excel and tweaking.
The report designer is less intuitive than modern BI tools available now, so tailoring reports to specific accounting needs can be very time consuming and you have to be familiar with SQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
