What I like best about Prisma is that it keeps planning, buying, and billing in one place. In media, a lot of errors happen in the handoffs: the plan says one thing, the order says another, and then finance is reconciling it at the end. When everything lives in one system of record, you spend less time chasing discrepancies and more time on strategy and optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s a system of record, which means a lot of structure around orders, approvals, and reconciliation. That’s great for accuracy and finance, but it can feel slower and less flexible than the platforms I use for day-to-day optimization. There’s also a learning curve for anyone new to it. I don’t see that as a flaw so much as a trade-off. The rigor is what protects billing and keeps clients’ numbers clean. My approach is to keep Prisma as the source of truth and do the fast, in-flight optimization in the platforms themselves, so I get both the control and the speed.
