What do you like best about PrintNode?

The setup is really simple and the connections are reliable. Pricing structures are fair as well. By using PrintNode, we are saving over 212 hours a year of labor time that it would have taken to print QR codes on our production line by manual point and click to printer. Nobody likes to waste time messing with printers in a manufacturing setting, especially at the admin level. With PrintNode, we are able to forget about adding the downloading pdfs and then printing manually, and skip focus more on the actual operational tasks at hand. This is increasing our throughput on our production lines and sending out more packages through parcel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PrintNode?

The free version with one connection and limited prints was really nice for preliminary testing, however switching over to an upgraded production account took a full day longer than what was relayed to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering PrintNode:

Utilize the connection on your local print server instead of on individual machines if applicable and running out of connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PrintNode solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to create a QR code for our BOMs going through production. Doing so allowed us to create a second production line without adding additional licenses in our ERP system. We are currently using PrintNode to automatically print these unique QR codes once production saves the first build station task. We plan to use PrintNode to also automatically print pallet id labels, bill of ladings, and packing slips for our parcel and ltl shipping processes as well. We will be saving well over 1,000 hours on manually printing these labels in the next year itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
