It manages complex batch printing with ease and saves me a huge amount of time. What really sets it apart, though, is the customer support—Mikhael is extremely responsive and genuinely listens. I asked for a blank page insertion feature, and it was added to the software within five days. That kind of engagement and follow-through on real user needs is rare. Print Conductor isn’t just well-engineered; it’s a product that continues to improve because the developer truly cares. **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** I have zero dislikes about the Print Conductor product. Whenever thee is an error it is 100% user error. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We print to many printers in many formats, Print Conductor allows us to route those jobs quickly and efficiently so that everything flows where it is supposed to. ### 2. It works well with bulk files, don't need to wait and put every files to print manually. Just queue a week's worth of documents be it (statements, screenshots, emails) it handles it all. It can print almost any format as long as it can be printed on paper, that is. It even works well if you got multiple printers, fairly easy to switch from one to another. No longer have to convert these files to a "printable" format. **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** Although the UI is pretty simple and bland, sometimes it can get buggy. Not to mention it looks outdated. For a $149 software, sometimes it messes up the layout of the document, which requires some tweaking to get it right. **Recommendations to others considering Print Conductor:** If you don't have to print hundreds of files regularly then you can do without it, but if you do print a lot, you can try it. There's a trial version for free. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** While trying to print your files, you shouldn't be thinking if they can be printed or return an error. Before using this, many files required to be manually opened and be queued one by one from their respective software. That's not a big issue if you print like 5 docs a day but for someone who got tens and hundreds all the different kinds of file formats (all mixed up), It can get overwhelming. The time it saves you by not having to open each file and queue them for print is cool. ### 3. There are lots of options if you dig into the program, but you don't have to use them all. Cost was easily made up by time saved AND the accuracy it provided. One other thing I like is that when I've had a question or a suggestion for improvement the owner of the company is the one who responds and either walks me through my issue to help me understand it, or puts it on his list for improvement. Great customer service! **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** When printing through the application, what ever settings you use are set as the default for that printer in other programs. Easy to change them back, but it's worth knowing **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a commercial print shop. One of our customers is a large organization that has more than 600 staff that send us documents that need to be printed in different quantities. Some times an order has multiple documents. By placing the documents that go together in a folder, Print Conductor allows us to put a folder cover sheet on the print job, along with a document cover sheet on each individual print file. This helps us sort and package the print jobs and make sure they get to the right person in the right building. We are more limited by the cache on our printers than we are by Print Conductor. ### 4. Each release gets more and more user friendly and the coders respond very quickly to comments and suggestions. **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** No 'Cons' to the software that I see. It quickly solves printing problems. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Print Conductor solved our issues with printing large numbers of documents - I can now easily queue up 100+ documents of varying sizes simply by using drag and drop and let that print job run in the background while I complete other tasks. The largest benefit I realized is the time savings and simple ease of use found in Print Conductor. It's intuitive and powerful. ### 5. I can't say enough good things about it for that scenario. I used to have to individually open and print 5 to 20 word and pdf documents several times a week. With Print conductor I just drag in all the documents I need to print and can even change the order they print in and hit print and they all get printed in the back ground while I can get to other tasks. I used the basic print conductor application, but I believe there is also a more powerful command line utility for more complex scenarios for a larger office. The support is excellent, and they take feed back for feature requests on future versions. It was such a great discovery and I have been a very happy user for a number of years now. **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** When upgrading to a new major version the process is a little bit manual with having to email them to get download links and codes, but they are very responsive, so it's not a huge issue. **Recommendations to others considering Print Conductor:** This is a reasonably priced tool that solves a specific printing task very well. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** The issue of needing to open -> print -> close many documents. The main benefit has been the time savings and less frustration with this task ### 7. Before we had to open and print each file, this was two days of work each week down to 10 minutes. **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** The only thing I have to say is that the software updates yearly and they try to get you to upgrade. They are fair about it and if you need the new features then it makes sense and I am actually happy that this isnt another niche software that is core to our business that gets forgotten about by its developers but I also dont think this software needs that many updates and if they just did a larger update less frequent I might upgrade but I never see the incremental value to do so. **Recommendations to others considering Print Conductor:** If this is something you need, they do it best, I am a cheapskate through and through because I hate paying for software when you dont need it. I would buy this again in a heartbeat because it does what I need it to and paid for itself in a day. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Same thing I like best about it, the time it saves in getting multiple printers printing a variety of files without having to open each one is incredible. The software works like a charm! Also the tech support has been amazing the one time we did have a question. ### 8. And with one of the upgrades, they made the printing go faster, which was great. I have to give huge credit to Print Conductor's team - when I was on my trial, I enquired about a feature which they didn't have. And soon enough, that feature was added! I was really impressed with their dedication to the users' needs. Plus, I could still use it totally free. Eventually I became a paid subscriber, not because I had to, but I felt they deserved my money. Truth be told - I can't live without Print Conductor now. **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** Nothing much really. If anything, the pricing for latest version seemed to have gone up considerably. I'm just glad I bought my license earlier. **Recommendations to others considering Print Conductor:** Try it out and you can save your valuable time by hours every time you print. As a business owner, I can't be spending hours just to print my files. Print Conductor has saved me so much time and allowed me to focus on more critical aspects of my business. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** For my business, I regularly need to print multiple PDF files (up to 100 large pdf files), and certain page numbers only and customized printer settings. This previously took me up to 1 hour, as the files were big, and it was a NIGHTMARE opening each file, and printing the right pages, and closing the file. And repeating it up to 100 times. I had to set there and do it manually. Hated it! With Print Conducter - they practically automated this for me. I spend 2 mins to set the page numbers and the printer setting. Then load my 100 files and let Print Conductor run on it's own. And i'm off doing something else (or just going for a coffee). ### 9. Print Conductor has been invaluable for our year end printing that goes out to those families, as the actual files are nestled within their own sub folders for each student. Without print conductor, we would have to navigate through each set of folders and right click > Print. With print conductor, I can upload a .txt file with the pathways and set it and forget it. We have also had great experience with support for Print Conductor, though we rarely need it. Was able to ask a question and have a speedy reply sent back in a short amount of time. Updates regularly **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** Sometimes we have a hard time getting the .txt to be formatted just right. But once we get that squared away we're off to the races. **Recommendations to others considering Print Conductor:** If you have a large number of print jobs that are in different locations, Print Conductor is a great tool. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Print Conductor is a lightweight tool that solves our large disparate print job issues. PC makes that process dead-simple, and no more shuffling papers and rotating printouts to get everything in order. Further, I once had an issue with Word documents that had tracked changes. I submitted a bug request and Mikhael reached out to me directly, and published a version of PC that fixed my problem. I was floored! **What do you dislike about Print Conductor?** I mean sometimes getting the print settings per document is a big cumbersome, but that's sort of the nature of printing from different document formats. **What problems is Print Conductor solving and how is that benefiting you?** As above, printing problems. I often have a couple hundred "packets" of documents I have to send out to people. Some of the documents stay the same from packet to packet, but some change. Print Conductor means I can swap out just the relevant documents and reprint, and everything comes out, in order.
