What do you like best about PracticeWorks?

The essential functions of the program are user-friendly. They can definitely help an office run more smoothly. The software also seems to have fewer glitches than other programs I have used. The fact that imaging, phones, and scheduling can be streamlined with CS PracticeWorks fairly simply makes it ideal for practices that use other software to make their practice more efficient. What do you dislike about PracticeWorks?

I wish reports were easier to run and export ALL reports to Excel or other programs. Insurance reports are primarily stuck in an old format (which is not user-friendly) and cannot be quickly gone through. There is also an error that allows words to print on top of each other. I have not been able to correct that in any formatting of different computers. Another feature that could use an upgrade would be the charting module. It takes a long time to open and takes time to go between the tabs. The new X-ray software has added two additional steps to be able to preview the X-ray. While the image quality is better, it is very cumbersome to try and quick check an X-ray. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering PracticeWorks:

I think that the product is beneficial for Dental Practices. The basic product is very user-friendly, but many additional features would need training by PracticeWorks to use. What problems is PracticeWorks solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s our scheduling and charting system. It’s nice to have more than one person look at a chart at a time. It is very convenient to have everything in one location and not have to use several programs at a time like we used to have to do. Our X-rays also run through PracticeWorks imaging, so it is a seamless process. Also, the ability to upload other X-rays into the chart as x-rays instead of attachments is extremely beneficial.
