What do you like best about Portfolio Lab?

The layout, design, and visuals. It's everything. I literally ENJOY using Kwanti, it is quick, responsive, and the design is sleek and modern. The way it functions is well thought out and you can quickly ascertain large amounts of analytical information about a security, fund, or portfolio in very little time. What do you dislike about Portfolio Lab?

I really, really wish it would classify Emerging Markets as a separate asset class. So many other financial planning/investment systems do, and when I am trying to take data from Kwanti and compare/carry it over into other systems, this is a little bit of a hiccup.

I wish that when clicking on the "details" section of a security/fund, that there would be even more information referenced. Such as listing securities beyond the top 10 holdings table. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Portfolio Lab:

If you're using a different portfolio analytics software, compare the price you're paying now compared to what Kwanti can give you at its price, especially if you know you don't use all of the features of your current system. What problems is Portfolio Lab solving and how is that benefiting you?

The hardest thing with investment advice is an engaging way to teach, explain, and illustrate concepts to clients. With Kwanti as an interactive, visual tool, clients "get it."

I'm able to talk about historical downside scenarios, recovery times, returns, allocations, expense ratios, and they just GET it. I get so much positive feedback at the end of my meetings where I have used Kwanti in front of the client. A common remark is that "I don't feel like I've really ever understood this stuff before" or "I feel like I learned more about investing in the last hour than in the last 5 years".
