What do you like best about Portal.io?

Portal has relationships with so many vendors and product lines, and it is constantly growning. The ability to add products with the correct cost, have your chosen markup applied right away, and be able to associate accessories and labour as soon as its added to a proposal eliminates so much ambiguity, and ensures profitability. No more spreadsheets. No more 'square-peg' CRM systems. Milestone payment schedules laid out. Payment requests sent in two clicks.

The two highest visibility assets Portal brings is fast and easy Quickbooks integration, and the updates Portal sends you as your client moves through the approval process. Emails when the proposal is opened. Every time. That includes when its expired and an 'attempted view' is made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Portal.io?

I would say these are known features that are being worked on: The ability to assign categories to 'no markup' like TVs or Hard Drives or Unifi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Portal.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Every sales and service process benefits from Portal. Ask your sales team whether they would have walked across hot coals just to know if, and when, a potential huge client opened the proposal. Portal also makes it easy for a buyer to order the right products in the right quantities, and it helps install and service stay aligned on prewire, trimout, and warranty details through a well-organized proposal.
