**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

I like that in Poppulo you are able to personalise your emails as much or as little as you like. It is by far the best communication tool I have used in my internal communications career. I also appreciate the help desk, which is a smooth and simple process to use to get your questions answered.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

That we are not able to un-send or recall emails! Managing people tags and lists can also be a little painful at times.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to communicate quickly with our employees at any time.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

Poppulo provides a lot of features trough its web version which othewise would have been a lot difficult to get hands on the software. Also the great documentation of the poppulo helped a ton to be able to get started with the website and work on more advanced features

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

There are no downsides as such for a great software like Poppulo. But If you ask any, I would be interested in seeing many   video documentations provided to every feature to understand the technology in more visual manner.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped solve the content management by not only providing the great UI but also great features to display content in the manner which cannot be done without the software.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

Poppulo is user-friendly with intuitive navigation. I'm able to quickly send or schedule mass communications. The analytics dashboard allows us to easily discern trends and preferences among readers of our communications. This actionable feedback has yeilded fantastic results. I especially like how it's easy to send emails on behalf of other employees and spoof the emails address and name.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

In very limited circumstances the program has misdirected auto-replies to the incorrect inbox. Poppulo has since made this very minor limitation clear using a disclaimer on the website. We mitigated the issue. It wouldn't effect my choice to use poppulo in the future.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poppulo offers me the ability to send mass emails, which I don't have in my standard email platform. The reader data is really helpful as we refine our strategic communications.

Templates can be tricky to use sometimes and there aren't a large variety of pre-made ones to choose from. They are hard to make your own and have them themed to your brand

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

I enjoy that Poppulo is always willing to take feedback from its users and make enhancements to the platform. It's also very up-to-date with current times in terms of technology.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

I wish that we could schedule content per device rather than having to have a channel that holds a playlist for a device, if that makes sense. It can be cumbersome doing so.

Poppulo has helped streamline a lot of our communications. This is beneficial because I sit on a small marketing team, and having any way to help make our internal communications more effective and efficient is essential to our success.

Poppulo offers so many additional resources that allow you to think creatively when managing display screens.  Their software is easy to use and their customer support makes it easy to learn new skills.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

You do need some technical knowledge to manage a set of display systems.  It is not too difficult, but you need some understanding of computers and how cloud-based systems function.

We are communicating to students and staff on our campus in the most frequent places they visit, housing and dining.  People from all over campus want to post in our locations.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

Poppulo's interface is very user friendly and the support team is second to none. It's very easy to setup capitivating digital displays and if I ever need help, I can reach out to their support team who will answer in a timely manner. This makes it so I can have different team members upload content without having to go through me.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

One thing I dislike is that if the players go offline, there is no notification sent to me. An email notification when one of the players goes offline would be a nice feature to add.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poppulo is helping us solve the problem of displaying room names and pictures for clients that rent our meeting space. This allows us to display a clients picture outside their meeting room so their guests know which way to go.

Poppulo is a great communications tool! It's especially handy when you are collaborating the gathering of materials with your team before launching the communications. It is easy to use and integrates seamlessly with the google suite. It was easy to implement with the team when first trying it out.

The picture library. Cannot use keywords to look for pictures. Can take a while to find content.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

Service center is always available to support with time sensitive issues in real time. Unfortunately the stability of the platform finds a user reaching out to help desk too frequently. Late test emails take very long to generate. Other tech issues where the system doesn't function properly etc

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

Lack of flexibility and design features. Difficult to work in article body to make the page pop. Very basis functions. More investment around diy templates and work with tables and icons and images more easily

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing employee engagement stats open click rates etc. unlike outlook u can track communications. Unfortunately not good enough with poppulo. If we have an item on a few newsletters simultaneously they need to be generated via different reports. Can't track item across editions.

The platoform handles all complex situations better than any other company. They support all types of data and web service. the support and help was wonderful and their communciations are awsome.

the cost seems to be high. it works good if you know how to do it but can be difficult some time to operate

digital signage configuration and Poppulo helped the property to solve and reconfigure everything and trained us how to do it. they are great

I love that you can create engaging components and also include a lot of content without worrying about size.

I wish we could play music! I think it would be neat to have music play when the email is opened.

Email size restraints, distribution maximum in outlook, traceable content and clicks to know what our audience engages with

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

What I like the most is that you can schedule different content and then send it out to multiple people at the same time and then get specific reports. This allows you to analyze the value of the content you send out and its impact on engagement, while being fairly simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

I very much dislike technical issues and problems that prevent or severely limit some things. A difficult issue is the creation of tables in the content, because it is very tiring to customize them and they are never perfect. Everything shifts around and gets disjointed. Another thing is the ability to upload images and gifs in different formats - unfortunately, you often get a message that something won't work in different browsers and you can't put the file in the content. Also missing is the addition of videos in the body of the email, so that it works without having to open a microsite or a separate external site and an easier way to review/manage audiences (like email lists view etc).

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in sending communications to a large number of employees and solves the problem of verifying who opened a message or clicked on a link, which can be very important.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

The Poppulo application is easy to use once you have had a little experience with it.  I love having the Poppulo digital sign board in our work areas.  It is a great tool for sharing information with staff.   I am able to share with multiple areas from my desk on information that may not be shared otherwise.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

There are apps built into the Poppulo product that may be interesting to use.  I have not figured out how to configure these apps for my digital display board.  They are not intuitive.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Poppulo allows me to share information quickly with my teams.  I can utilize my access to multible boards in order to provide a consistent message across multiple sites.

I like the ease of being able to store our templates and contact lists. I also really like how much the reporting supports our auditing processes

I wish the open/read rates were more accurate, and could also include when a communication has been read in a reading pane

Makes it easier for us to contact a large number of email addresses and audit/track that these have been delivered, received and how they've been engaged with

Aspects of the software are sold separately, and we weren't told about that until it was too late. We signed a contract that specified a number of emails, which we thought was the basis for cost. It wasn't until we were nearly done with training that we were told we only bought access to the email templates and sending system, and none of the other features.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. Once we found out that Poppulo had hoodwinked us into signing a contract that didn't address our needs (we wanted digital signage, not emails) then we discontinued the service.

There are certainly other wonderful features such as the heatmaps and reporting

The process of taking out the data is a bit tedious. We cannot pull information as a whole outside Poppulo. If we want a stats for the month we would have to go into each day download the respective emails.

I like that we can connect it to our HR systems for easier and quicker DL management. I alos like that I can easily see a record of all emails sent, even across role changes. I can see what my predecessor has sent even though I don't have access to her email.

It can be very glitchy at times. The formatting options are confusing and sometimes don't make sense. Occasionally, random visible lines will appear on the actual email.

Easy to actually send the email out once the design/template is done. The process for uploading emails and getting the email sent out is easy to understand and simple to execute.

The editing features need a lot of work. It is clunky to edit anything and just to figure out in general and doesn't give you much control over editing specific features like the image etc. There also needs to be more font options. It also should be a lot easier to edit and for a beginner to understand and navigate.

Making it easy to send out a newsletter. We have an internal newsletter that we send once a month, and Poppulo does make it easy to send it pretty effortlessly. Once the design is complete, it is easy to edit the text and image once a month.

Really like the ability to clone emails and make the changes required. A simple, straightforward tool, with lots of possibilities to present comms in an engaging way. Great ability to analyse comms effectiveness. Knowledge base and support is really handy.

Using Poppulo for event bookings is a little tricky, lots of steps and opportunities to get it wrong. Ideally would be able to search an individual's details to find recent comms shared with them, and then re-send as required. The ability to re-add a user would be useful, rather than having to upload an entire new user list.

Poppulo makes it easy to craft lovely, on-brand emails. Love how you can tweak most content aspects (edit embedded images, customize cell margins in tables, etc.) using their rich text editor. Also really appreciate the 'attach file to image' feature--it makes it easy to link .ics files/PDFs to a button.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

Formatting for left-to-right languages (e.g. Hebrew) can be a little tricky in my experience. I'd also like for performance reports to look better when downloading (content sometimes gets cut off at the sides.)

Poppulo enables the release of timely and on-brand communications to our employees using templates. Having a powerful text editor helps me get the look and feel of the message just right--especially important when it comes to sensitive/urgent communications.

I'm a new Poppulo user and it's been fairly simple to figure out how to use it. The support articles are helpful, and the interface is fairly intuitive. I haven't had much trouble building and deploying basic internal comms, creating events, etc.

There are a few different functionalities that it seems like it should have but doesn't. Little things, like "why can't I put a button here"? I wish it had a live support chat that I could ask questions to as well.

I wish that finding people in the tags was easier. I also wish that editing tags was easier; there is a deactivate button but not a "delete" button in the tag section which would be helpful.

Poppulo is easy to use and I like that it has specific information for our agency. It's a social media plateform but you don't have to weed through all the ureleavent posts to get to your companies specific updates.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

So far I have not found anything that I dislike about Populo.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

Poppulo is super user friendly system. It makes producing a weekly newsletter easier then coding an html.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

I don't like that you can't completely customize certain aspects. Sometimes the program glitches and closes out during editing process.

We use to use an html code to provide weekly newsletters and it simplifies the process while allow us to produce more content.

**What do you like best about Poppulo?**

Building an email template is so easy. I can include images and links and can even lift content from one template to another, which is great when you work for a global comapny and have different types of newsletter. I also love the analytics, being able to track open rates and click throughs helps us continuously improve our content.

**What do you dislike about Poppulo?**

Our address books don't seem to integrate well with Poppulo and sometimes we lose people from lists. As I understand it this is more an issue on our side. I do also find the difference between address books and tags confusing and I think there is scope to simply the process of uploading/ storing contact lists.

**What problems is Poppulo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes we like to use stories from the global newsletter in our local version. I used to have to copy and paste all the information and find and download the relevant photos, but the function of being able to lift content from one template to another has made things so much easier. It saves time and keeps the messaging consistent.
