## PodMatch Reviews
 ### 1. Great for Finding the Right Guests, Not Just More Guests

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavesh N. | Founder/Creative Director, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

Beyond guest discovery, the platform has helped streamline my entire guest management process. The scheduling tools, guest profiles, messaging, and production workflow reduce not only the administrative work but also the cognitive load of keeping track of everything. That allows me to spend more time preparing for meaningful conversations instead of managing logistics.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

No platform is perfect, and I still do my own due diligence before inviting someone onto the show. There are some instances of unprofessional behavior from guests (and their PR firms) but PodMatch has channels for reporting them.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

Always, always, always (did I say always?) do your own due-diligence. No tool is going to do this for you. By due-diligence, I don't just mean check their social media and podcast appearances, even though that's important. I mean checking their reputation through (for example) press coverage and (if in business like me) their Glassdoor/Indeed reviews.

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been using PodMatch to source guests for my business podcast, and it's become an important part of my workflow.

My guest criteria are quite specific. I'm not looking for just anyone willing to be on a podcast. I'm looking for founders and CEOs of established companies who fit a particular philosophy and audience. Even with those constraints, PodMatch has consistently helped me identify strong candidates. I've already recorded several episodes with guests I found through the platform and have several more in the pipeline.

PodMatch has dramatically shortened the time it takes to find qualified guests and organize the production process.

 ### 2. The place to match guests and hosts. Hands down. No competition.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Coach J. | Head Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

The ease of use. it is so intuitive, and the ability to match not just to any show, but to shows that specifically fit my target audience, is amazing.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

I really can't find much to complain about. Perhaps some people might be put off by the price, but I have definitely made back my investment many times over.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

When you understand that this is an investment, and the highest quality software platform of its kind, you'll realize that it's a no-brainer to join. Agencies charge hundreds to thousands per month to do what Podmatch does for you for a fraction of that cost. Their commitment to quality over quantity ensures that you will enjoy meaningful interviews from established podcasts that are likely to stick around for a long time, in an industry where podcasts appear and disappear overnight.

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Podmatch has been amazing for booking guests for my podcast as well as finding shows to be a guest on. It is incredibly easy to use, has an incredible team behind it, where the founders are actively engaged in making the best product possible.

 ### 3. Podmatch is a must if you want to be a guest on podcasts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephan B. | Chief Evangelist & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

Their founder Alex. He has a guru in passion to help and it comes across in his desire to help those on the platform succeed using it. You can tell when something is performative or real and he is the real deal. Love the gamification in onboarding!

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

Nothing really they do a really solid job. I’d love for their community to be more integrated into their product but that would just be a nice to have.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

Put in the time to build a great profile here. Their matching algorithm is solid and it really pays off. I’ve been a guest on at least 30 podcasts in the past 3 months and have made some amazing friends and connections through it. Put value in get twice the value out!

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s amazing how effective this platform has been. When is come to connecting podcasts hosts and guests there isn’t better. I have been a guest on about 30 podcasts due to the platform matches and connections made

 ### 4. Great for Matching and Vetting Shows, Though Finding the Right Fit Takes Time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Brand Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

PodMatch makes it easy for us to match with and vet shows, which is ideal for figuring out where we’ll have the most engaging conversations.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

It can take quite a while to find podcasts that are a genuinely good mutual fit. Because PodMatch is open to all industries and professionals, the experience naturally comes with ebbs and flows.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

Be ruthlessly clear and candid about what shows you want to associate your brand with. Even if that means declining 20 podcasts before you find the 1 that is a great fit. These shows stay available for anyone to listen to for years, so make sure you commit to them fully before matching.

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PodMatch lets us pick and choose the podcasts that are the best fit for us to guest on, so we can demonstrate our expertise in brand-building. Because the hosts and we vet the matches, we feel confident that the shows we appear on are high-quality and that our potential customers are likely to be listening there.

 ### 5. PodMatch trains you to hit the ground running, reach target audiences, & enjoy community connection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura V. | Novelist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

It really is a resource that is as good as you are willing to make it. Put in the time to really learn all the things PodMatch is offering to teach and it pays off, big time. Particularly for someone like myself who has been doing promotion the hard way forever.

Also, it is such a joy to watch Alex, the founder, blossom as an industry leader. He knows he's good, and he knows the business is terrific, but he is constantly trying new things and reaching out to people in a way that reminds me of a small town business on Main Street. It's a lonely word and he's made PodMatch such a respite from insanity.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

The same emotional energy I use to do interviews through PodMatch is the same emotional energy fiction writers need to write--so the more involved I get with PodMatch, the more behind I fall with my writing!

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

Try it for a month and I think you'll end up belonging forever because speaking as a guest, it is kind of like having your own publicist right there at your desk to book yourself on different kind of shows to see what traction results. Also, it is a marvelous way to meet people and I know people who have been been in podcasting for years have always known how personal the connections can be, that THAT which makes a podcaster different from other media people also makes them extremely good company. All this is new to me over the last year and I am very very impressed with the whole she-bang!

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oh, it's an author's dream. I've spent years on the road promoting my novels and now that I'm writing a fiction serial as a podcast* , PodMatch is a marvelous tool to promote with. First, it trots hundreds of podcasts past you for review. Second, it is inexpensive. Third, you don't have to engage with anyone you don't want to. Fourth, the people in the community are very eager to help anyone who asks for it.

*In traditional trade fiction publishing you are always shotgunning the message out, hoping to hit interested readers. With Podmatch, you can narrow-cast, i.e. pick all the shows that reach your core audience.

 ### 6. PodMatch Nails Alignment for Getting Booked on the Right Shows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Danny B. | Motivational Speaker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

What I like best about PodMatch is the ALIGNMENT. It’s not just about getting booked, it’s about getting booked on the right shows. It simplifies the process, saves time and creates meaningful conversations with hosts whose audiences genuinely resonate with my message.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

Many of the podcast hosts to do not respond in a timely manner when applying - but that's not on PodMatch, that's on those hosts.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

Be intentional about who you say yes to. PodMatch gives you access, but your results come from alignment. Focus on shows where your message truly fits the audience, prepare thoughtfully for each conversation and treat every appearance as a relationship, not just exposure.

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PodMatch solves the problem of finding the RIGHT podcast conversations - not just more of them. Instead of chasing random opportunities, it connects me with hosts whose audiences align with my message, which saves time and increases the quality of each appearance.

For me, that means better conversations, stronger relationships and more meaningful impact - because I’m speaking to people who actually need and value what I share.

 ### 7. Business Owner / Podcast Guest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

I am not sure how else I would be connecting with people who have shows around topics I want to speak on. I have met some very interesting hosts and had a blast honing my on-the-spot speaking skills. I think anyone who hasn't tried podcasting but wants to should use PodMatch as their launchpad!

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

Sometimes it seems like the Host users are getting lost with how to progress the show. Perhaps they are just getting confused or failing to do their tasks, but it breaks the system down a little bit. Occasionally, the matches aren't perfect, but overall it has been very successful for me!

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

I am on Matchmaker.fm and PodMatch, and PodMatch is the best. Try the highest tier for a while and really engage. It is a tool, the rest is up to you!

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a place to share my 17+ years of expertise and knowledge but no way to know where to start. PodMatch answered that question easily by connecting me with likeminded hosts of shows where I can guest and hone my skills of delivering my ideas to a wider audience.

 ### 8. Huge Time-Saver for Finding the Right Podcasts, with a Clear Step-by-Step Booking Flow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Al I. | Voice Over Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

Mostly the amount of time it saved me in finding podcasts that I'd want to appear on - and who would want me as a guest! Not to mention the step by step booking process to make sure everyone is on the same page, from scheduling interviews, pre-show questions, and being clear on exactly what shows and guests expect from one another.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

Not a dislike, just a warning. That like any other tool in business, you still have to use it strategically, or you can end up paying for volume instead of meaningful exposure.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

If you’re considering using PodMatch, treat it like a relationship-building tool rather than just a booking engine—take the time to craft a clear, compelling profile and pitch that highlights what makes your story unique and valuable to an audience. Be selective about the shows you pursue, focusing on alignment over volume, and show up prepared and professional for every interview, because hosts talk and your reputation builds quickly on the platform. The more intentional you are, the more you’ll get out of it in terms of meaningful conversations, audience growth, and real impact.

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a guest seeking podcasts to promote my book and share my story, PodMatch solves the challenge of finding the right hosts and shows that align with my message. Instead of spending hours researching podcasts and sending cold pitches, the platform connects me with hosts who are actively looking for guests in my niche, making the process far more efficient and targeted. This benefits me by saving time, increasing my chances of landing meaningful interviews, and helping me reach new audiences who would connect with my book and personal journey.

 ### 9. Where Real Conversations Actually Happen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

PodMatch lets me focus on conversation instead of outreach. I’m matched with hosts whose audiences already care about the kind of work I do.

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

I have not found anything wrong with it up to this point.

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

If you’re serious about using podcast guesting - or hosting - to reach aligned audiences, PodMatch is worth it. It removes a lot of friction. You’re not cold pitching. You’re being matched with hosts who actually want your voice and your message.

This works best if you’re clear on what you stand for and who you serve. The more grounded and specific your profile is, the better the matches get. It’s not about chasing exposure. It’s about showing up in the right rooms and having real conversations.

If you’re willing to show up consistently, follow through, and treat podcasting as relationship building rather than a numbers game, PodMatch can be a strong long term tool.

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PodMatch has allowed me a place to spread my message to the people that need to hear it the most.

 ### 10. Podmatch is where it’s at!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Branden L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about PodMatch?**

I love that everyone’s profile is very transparent so I know exactly what I’m getting when I book myself on a show or when I bring a guest on

**What do you dislike about PodMatch?**

I haven’t found a downside yet. They make it very easy to say no to people and shows that are not in alignment

**Recommendations to others considering PodMatch:**

If you are a podcast or you want to be on podcast, this is a great place to be, my only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner. This is my fourth year as a Podcast host and I definitely could have used this in the beginning

**What problems is PodMatch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I knew for expansion that I needed to have more guests on as well as become a guest, I am able to do both on one platform and it has been incredible.
