What do you like best about Plone CMS?

1. Thank God! It's open source. We (Vietnamese) are still in the process of development, and we prefer to use open source software/platforms because, firstly, it saves costs, and secondly, it allows us to freely build our own world (not just Hello World :D). Besides, Plone CMS has a strong community that allows developers to share knowledge and experiences, help each other hands-on, and so on, bringing more value/feedback to the Plone development team. 2. The CMS core workflow with deep customization enabler allows developers to freely customize and build on it. 3. Flexible permission management & customization allow developers to tailor business needs more accurately. 4. A wide range of categories that allow building CMS-based/Web-portals or web applications to meet customer requirements. 5. Security management is also the best. What do you dislike about Plone CMS?

1. Some of my friends said that the UI/UX doesn't catch their attention, at least in comparison with WordPress regarding friendly UI/UX. 2. Caching is not good as it costs us a number of hours to monitor and clean up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Plone CMS:

OCR technical-based software that would help automatically scan and store form fields from end users. Besides, AI and Face detection also need to be added because of Python's advantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Plone CMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vietnamese translation with Unicode enable and workflow customization. We have deeply customized the workflow to adapt to our complicated customer approval workflow - allowing a user to play multiple roles or even restrict editor roles.
