"Great for Unifying Marketing Data Pipelines, Missing Native Kubernetes Tooling & Modern Java SDK"
4/5
What do you like best about Platformly?

As a senior backend engineer at Celonis, most of my work centers on stitching together scattered marketing event datasets to feed our process mining workflows. Platformly’s extensive library of pre-built connectors saves my team countless hours writing boilerplate Java and Python integration code from scratch. Beyond basic data sync, I’m impressed by its supplementary tooling: pipeline version control lets us instantly revert broken sync jobs after bad deployments, built-in webhook debuggers make troubleshooting payload deliveries to our Celonis backend far less tedious, and granular role permissions help us strictly separate EU customer data across distributed engineering groups. Its native GDPR masking and consent logs also fit neatly into our AWS EKS environment, and real-time monitoring dashboards surface pipeline failures before they impact downstream analytics. What do you dislike about Platformly?

The biggest pain point for our cloud-native stack is the complete absence of official Kubernetes manifests; every container deployment requires us to draft and maintain custom config files tailored to our AWS clusters, adding consistent DevOps overhead. The provided Java SDK is noticeably outdated, paired with sparse technical documentation that slows down any bespoke backend integrations we build. Additionally, the platform’s audit trail exports cannot be customized to match the specific GDPR reporting formats German enterprise regulators require, forcing my compliance teammates to manually reformat every log set before official reviews.
