It makes uploading budgets into the system pretty painless and much more efficient than other systems I've used in the past. The support team that helped implement the system has been extremely helpful and responsive to our requests, which I truly appreciate. Also, some of the basic AI functionality in the product is pretty good and helps me keep a lean finance team in my organization. **What do you dislike about Planful?** I feel that they could include more of their advanced AI functionality into the base pricing because, ultimately, the data is there. I just wish that some of their more advanced AI tools are priced into their basic product. **What problems is Planful solving and how is that benefiting you?** Planful makes budgeting and forecasting easier with an Excel import tool, reducing manual data entry. It's great that Planful solves the issue of having a single source of truth and integrates data to get rid of manual workflows. I think the reporting tool and dynamic planning capabilities in Excel are particularly good and flexible. They help us model the entire gross profit for our business effectively, keeping it organized and making the monthly roll-forward of data very simple. Additionally, Planful has been simple to use, acting as great partners who are both responsive and well-organized during setup. I value that Planful does everything I need in an FP&A tool, and they block and tackle well. **What do you dislike about Planful?** Their dashboarding could use a facelift or be outsourced to another vendor. While it is not always an issue, it may make bigger task more time consuming **What problems is Planful solving and how is that benefiting you?** It made using multiple data source way more easier as we were able to consolidate all at the same place. Instead of simply using our account number, we have to use a specific Planful code that corresponds to that account. The customization of hierarchies with attributes and roll-up nodes is another feature I like, which isn't available in our current accounting software. **What do you dislike about Planful?** The support team requires lots of back and forth like you are dealing with a robot rather than an individual that wants to help and make workable solutions with you. Once set up, it is very easy to use. **What do you dislike about Planful?** At times, it get a little technical in order to build the reports that you want. However, the Bakerfield consultants are there to help us bridge the gap. **What problems is Planful solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have 3 separate ERP systems and before Planful, I was manually having to consolidate reports from the 3 systems. The manual-ness was not only time consuming, but also very prone to errors. Planful was able to set up connections to each of the ERP systems so that we can now run consolidated reports with ease. ### 9. It also has a n ease of use when I need to access and manipulate that data which makes it easy to share and teach new users. I also like planful templates. They provide the ability to automate some of our more structured budget and forecast processes. **What do you dislike about Planful?** At the moment we are having an issue with the amount of time it takes planful to process data and run through template processing. It is making it difficult to update our forecast/budgets in a timely manner as well as making the process to update and make changes long and arduous. **What problems is Planful solving and how is that benefiting you?** The option to build automated budgeting and forecasting processes using templates has helped us reduce the number of extra Excel files required to update our models. It also enables us to consolidate our data in a single location, making it easier to compare various metrics within the same platform and spot any errors in our modeling. ### 10. Planful is more finance and FP&A focused and it would helpful to have more attention to be given to more accounting functions.
