What do you like best about Planful?

It provides a single source of truth for budgeting and forecasting, with automated reporting and live data. I also like the spotlight reporting, and the fact that there’s no need to tie out data across multiple sources. The workforce planning capabilities are helpful, and the collaborative environment makes it easier for budget managers to work together. What do you dislike about Planful?

Implementation can take a long time. Some of the tools aren’t as strong as they could be—for example, the Marketing module isn’t integrated with the main finance platform. We also need consulting support on a regular basis to keep things running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Planful solving and how is that benefiting you?

Planful helps create accurate, bottom-up budgets and forecasts, with minimal noise afterward compared with when companies manage these in Excel or other cumbersome platforms. It also offers very robust reporting and access to granular, transactional data. Overall, it saves time and resources, meaning the FP&A function can operate with fewer heads/$s because many processes are automated through Planful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
