**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

PL Rater is a quality product and has made my job easier as a broker. Getting preliminary quotes for multiple companies in just a few minutes has been a life saver.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

The first change would be to include a trailer or RV option on the Auto side of the rating platform. As it stands, you can only include automobiles. Most of the major companies will offer the option to include an RV or Trailer on the auto policy. 

The second change would be to allow Dwelling Fire policies to be quoted in other states besides California. I have clients that have multiple rental properties. This would make my job easier when I need to shop an account.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PL Rating allows me to maximize time and productivity.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

The ease of use and the accuracy rating. Also,the time between that rated are got back and the determination of eligibility.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

The fact that PL Rater only does owner occupied property. The rater would be great if it could dwelling policies

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Rater is now pulling possible drivers and updates to the property through the county records

Ease of use and many nice upgrades.  It keeps improving and I feel more confident in the results and bridging to the carrier.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

Lately it has been working very well so no dislikes at this time.

Obtaining several quotes at one time and the ability to answer specific underwriting questions while rating.  I also like the message area that provides information based on your input and helpful in letting you know what is needed going forward.  As mentioned before much improvement over the years

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

Being able to enter the customers information once and having it transferred to all of my companies makes my life so much easiter.  I have not used other raters so I cannot tell you how they compare but I love everything about PL rater.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

The only real downside to PL rater, in my opinion, is that I cannot use it for all quotes, such as motorcycle, boat, or rental properties.  If those type of quotes could be made available that would help me.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PL rater helps me with my time management.  The benefits are not having to reenter information multiple times and seeing where the rates stand with all of my companies in just a few minutes.

From the start of the quote, you are able to customize it for your clients. PL Rating also allows you to add endorsement packages that will help get you a more accurate quote.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

There are times when the system will glitch and won't let you bridge over. I also wish we didn't have to update our passwords as frequently. I feel like I am always behind the 8 ball.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I didn't have PL Rating, I would have to go in and quote multiple times. This service allows me to bypass the hassle and get instant quotes. I also appreciate that it is easy to use.

`That it does no pull all of the information from AMS360.  It does not pull ss#, DOB, drivers license, etc....

I am not aware of anything PL Rating is solving so I cannot tell you how it is benefiting me.

One of the most helpful things in using PL Rating is one time entry for multiple carriers.  Time saving and less errors.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

Some frustrating things with PL Rating are fields that are duplicate or do not apply to the end rate. Password updates are also very confusing and frustrating.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PL Rating saves staff from having to enter a home and/or auto quote into each company we represent individually. This saves time and helps to prevent errors.   This is beneficial in helping with quick turnaround times on quotes and marketing.

**What do you like best about PL Rating?**

Love that it integrates with AMS360, quoting is easy. Once we moved under RSC's version, we lost the database info with vehicles and drivers pulling in on new quotes.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

It's not really PLR, but don't like how some carriers, even though you selected a pay plan, will still display their pay in full rate. If we didn't select that, it should either be shown as a company altered quote or with the plan we selected on the basic info screen.

I don't have any problems at the moment.

It is great at getting a baseline for who will be the best for each individual. Even without running reports, PL Rating makes it easy to know where to start when quoting.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

For some reason, Travelers and PL Rating have a hard time bridging with one another. No matter what I do, no matter what Tech Support does, all that pulls from PL Rating to Travelers is the name and address for the customer.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only have to enter customer information once, saving me a ton of time when quoting policies. I can do more quotes with a quicker turnaround time daily, increasing the company's retained and gained business.

PL Rating makes my job so much easier when having to comparison shop insureds renewals.   It allows me to use one platform for all of our carriers to know the best possible rate for that client.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

PL Rating for new business is more cumbersome but definitely still allows you to have one platform for comparison shopping all of our carriers.   It would be great if PL rating simplified some of the entry screens to speed the process.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One platform to comparison shop renewals instead of having to go to each individual carrier and rekey all the information multiple times.

The home rating needs some work, as not all companies offer the same coverages and the rates aren't always accurate because of the differences

Items included in carrier questions such as a separate deductible for Water Back Up really don't help with rating

I can get a fast rate indication making it faster for me to get a quote to the customer

Very user friendly, easy to navigate, customized reports. Just about every function you can think of is available.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

I would like to see sticky notes open on customer screens - actually on the screen, maybe above the policy list, rather than at the top or side of the screen. As they are now, they are easy to overlook. At least for me.

**What problems is PL Rating solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes quoting faster and helps me to be more productive. It would take days to quote one account if we had to rate each carrier individually.

  ### 24. We can never get a quote using the PL Rater.  It always gives a error code.

I don't care for the PL Rater.  It has never worked properly since it was set up.

**What do you dislike about PL Rating?**

Can never get a quote with any of the carriers.  Always get an error code to quote directly with the carrier.

Cant quote on the PL Rater.  We don't even use it.

Convenience, bridging info to carriers.  I can quote multiple carriers while only inputting personal information once.  Also uploads driver and vehicle information automatically

Not all information transfers.  While it is convenient, sometimes information will not upload to the carriers quoting system and or it is not up to date.  All in all it is great.

Changing the passwords can get cumbersome. Anytime you need to change data it updates another quote on the carriers system. To me it should only link over when you bridge over.

Sometimes it seems like the quotes are way off. You merge to the company site and it could come back much different. Some companies don't take the insurance score into play and that causes the premium not not be correct

It will sometimes bring in violations if pulled from a public records, which helps but does not fully run a MVR
