"Reliable encryption, granular controls"
5/5
What do you like best about PK Protect Platform?

We use both PDE and TDE, and they complement each other well. PDE keeps files encrypted wherever they go. TDE covers data at rest by adding a second layer of access control on top of NTFS permissions. That separation of duties is useful: IT can administer the servers and file systems, but can’t view protected content without the appropriate key. Having both options managed from one platform makes it easy to apply the right protection to the right data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PK Protect Platform?

There isn’t much to complain about. The product has been reliable and the relationship with PKWARE has been positive. One area that adds some overhead is restoring encrypted files from backup. It requires an extra process rather than a simple restore, which adds steps for our team, but that doesn't appear to be specific to PK. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
