What do you like best about PingFederate?

Ping Federate works with modern-day applications like SaaS and cloud applications. It brings Multifactor Authentication with various simplified authentication mechanisms. It also supports native .net and Java-based applications too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingFederate?

The change of authentication is a serious concern. If I have replaced my phone and multifactor authentication is enabled, it is tough to change the authentication mode. Even though it aids in the security aspect of changing the authentication, it should provide the user with the ease to replace the device for authentication. What problems is PingFederate solving and how is that benefiting you?

A significant challenge for all modern-day organizations who rely on the various cloud and SaaS-based technologies like Commercial Off The Shelf applications is to manage too many credentials of the users. It is a challenge for the users to remember the credentials of different applications. It is also a challenge to change the credentials for safety and security regularly. It is also an ask not to use the same credentials for multiple applications. Hence a Single Sign-On mechanism where the user relies on a single password, bio metric, or OTP-based authentication works wonders. Ping Federate solves this problem.
