"PING - Great tool for data backup"

What do you like best about PING?

The best part about ping is that we can easily either backup our data or clone it over MS Network Shared Directory. Along with the input and output data it can also take backup of the whole partition making it very easy to rescue a system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PING?

A new user has to do some extra efforts in order to get used to the User Interface as there is very less documentation available online. Also pricing of the software can also be at a little more lower side. Availability of yearly license is also in my opinion a negative thing about the product as a lifetime alternative can easily be released. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering PING:

If data retrieval and revival is your topmost priority, then PING is the go-to solution for you. Also, since the product is built on LFS (Linux From Scratch), installing a complete copy of the product is very much feasible into your systems and the performance and results generated by this tool are insane. What problems is PING solving and how is that benefiting you?

The major problem I am solving with PING is the sudden and quick revival of a system by taking backup or by cloning the data which can be reused at some later time. The benefits I have realized are ample and speak highly of the product, like supporting multiple file systems like FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
