I like PhotoWorks for its approachable batch-editing toolkit that does not require advanced editing expertise, allowing our junior studio staff to quickly apply unified color correction across hundreds of preview photos. The basic installation and operation are very straightforward, which is great since we don't have a dedicated IT staff. The batch editing drastically speeds up our preliminary review phase for high-volume brand shoots, letting us import over 600 raw shots and apply unified brightness and color presets much faster. PhotoWorks struggles with high-resolution raw camera files from our professional studio cameras. On that skincare campaign, large-format files would lag or occasionally crash during batch processing. Its file-export options are also limited; we cannot directly output to our preferred professional file formats. Since we have no dedicated IT staff, we lack workarounds for these bugs.
